    Post pics!

I know this isn't one of the newer sets, but it took me a while to open this thing up and put it together.

I plan on getting the new B-Wing this week hopefully by Friday.

I'd absolutely love to see this set done as a full on "modular building". Or at least I wish this version had been in scale with modulars. After seeing comparison shots, I find it doesn't match real well with modulars, unfortunately.

I was this close to doing the same. Waiting for some promotion to make it more worth while.

Finally built my Exo-Suit - very fun, very cool little build. Definitely a set anyone who ever enjoyed Classic Space would love.

Maybe it's just me, but I really do feel like they easily could've remolded the body, square out the chest, make the arms boxy, with a hole/clip at the end or hands, and making the legs also boxy but rounded at the top for articulation.

I don't know, I could see them doing it in the future say they decide to go forth with this.

My order arrived, so I guess all I have to do now is figure out which one to start with first. Do I wanna go Back in Time or get Ready to Believe?

Well first things first, I'll just build the mini-cooper polybag to start, what fun to finally take advantage of free polybag gifts. (Kinda wish it was MM though.)

    Here we go:

In case you don't know, Thunderbirds was a TV show in the 1960s, primarily puppets. A live-action movie was made more than 40 years later. This is the Mole, a drilling vehicle used by the Thunderbirds.
Once again, I'd really like to hear your opinions.

Does the one on the right use the bowed brackets to connect the fingers? I've been looking for a cheap set that has those! (Vulk also had them, but he's an earlier release, so I may not be able to find him as easily as I could that one.)

    true dat.

And now, for some other(less enraging) news.

Police: $200,000 in Legos recovered, 4 people arrested

I did some calculations about how $200000 would be worth in certain sets (original US price)....

    - 400 UCS millenium falcons
    - 667 Taj Mahal
    - 1000 Eiffel Towers
    - 833 Tower bridges
    - 1429 Cafe corners
    - 1334 Green grocers
    - 1334 Fire brigades
    - 1334 Grand emporiums
    - 1334 Pet shops
    - 1000 Town halls
    - 1334 Palace cinemas
    - 1250 Parisian restaurants

    ... My god.
