Mine had a lot. I just browsed it on the Can, and already I await the next issue. Loved the little joke on the last page. (poor Ash)

    And can I say it.

    Deadites > Zombies

Definately better than I was expecting. I loved Zombies but I thought Kirkman should have written it.

I'm gonna wait for the HC release but will continue reading it in store. Oh and there's a preview of #2 somewhere that features the following:

    *Black Widow eating a puppy
*Zombie Cap letting Ash and a bitten Spidey escape
*Punisher shooting down a mass of zombie villians
*Zombie Howard the Duck eating some blacked out person

Not quite as good as the original mini, but still pretty fun.

The writer isn't on the Kirkman level for Zombies, but this is still pretty fun stuff. :D

I liked it. The only thing that I thought didn't work was Ash's flashbacks to the Sentry in Heaven. I thought that was kind of confusing, but only a little.

Yeah, I didn't like that part. Seems like you have to read the Army of Darkness comics (if there are any, not real sure) to know what's going on with Ash.

Yeah the last issue of the AoD comic leads directly into the AoD Vs Marvel Zombies cross-over. I read it but its still a bit confusing. This was a great issue though, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm a little disappointed that this series has turned into an Army of Darkness spinoff rather than a simple crossover. I mean was it really necessary to use the AoD deadite thing as the virus?

I'm guessing that officially making the Marvel Zombies deadites was part of the reason this crossover came about in the first place.

If that's the case then it shouldn't have been done at all.

Its never stated that the Zombies are actually deadites, though. Ash just assumes that because its what he's used to. It doesn't mean he's right.

Na, they're deadites. The spirit of the Necronomicon possesses that homeless woman to inform him of his imminent death. It probably wouldn't have bothered if it didn't have anything to do with it in the first place.

Why? I don't see what the problem is. I think it's neat.

The problem is that it removes the uniqueness of the Marvel Zombies' origin.

I mean, let's say you're a Superman fan. How would you feel if it was actually the Sentry that gave him his powers. Or vice versa. You get what I'm saying?

It gave the zombies an origin, it didn't take anything away from them, at all. I personally loved it.
