In case anyone is going, Funko has 2 SDCC pony exclusives revealed. It's nothing TOO revolutionary, they simply took the black versions of Spitfire and DJ PON-3 from the Mystery Minis set and are doing them in full Funko Vinyl size.
So today, I went to that one toy store I only go to like once or twice a year, and they had an exceptionally shitty stock - they got toys all over the place, but practically fuckall in terms of toys like TMNT, Transformers and My Little Pony - you know, the ones I see loads of in stores that aren't even actual toy stores - so I looked high and low for something to buy so it wouldn't feel like a complete waste of time. So I wound up gawking over a bunch of MLP plushies and noticed that several RD's were missing wings. What kind of a sick, twisted monster makes an RD plush...and leaves out her wings? To add insult to injury, the only RD plush that did have wings, apart from this smallish 11" one (that I ended up buying) and a bunch of keyring ones, the only RD that had wings was this gigantic one that was almost the size of a real pony, cost like 160 dollars and made me go "Oh you've got to be kidding me - that wouldn't even fit in my washing machine!"
I just Pre-Ordered the Funko Rarity and Discord from Hot Topic. I passed on Daring Do. My daughter didn't really seem to care about that one, but was excited about Rarity when I showed her the picture on the computer. I guess I'll admit Discord is more for me.

I have Rarity and Daring Doo on order and they told me when I ordered them in the store that Discord wasn't on the site to order along with them. Must have updated recently or something. How much is he going for? I figure he has to be way bigger than the ponies.
I Preordered them back in July. Rarity was $14.80 and Discord was $19.60. Haven't gotten notification that they are in stock yet. I did Ship to Store, so I'm guessing Rarity will show up first.
I went to my local HT on Saturday, and they had Rarity and Discord in. Even though I had preordered and they are due in this Friday, I had to have them right then and there! Rarity and Daring Do go for $18.50, and Discord is $24.50. Though right now, HT is having a 'buy one item, get the other for 50% off,' so it worked out pretty well price-wise. They got me to buy some other stuff as well. Tried my luck with a Series 2 blindbox, but just got Twilight.
If you are near a HT store, I'd check there. The online pre-order is sold out, but the stores should still be getting shelf-stock.
I just got an email from HT that my Discord and Rarity that I ordered are at my local store, so I'll be stopping by there on my way home from work. Edit- Picked them up and they look great.
