I wish. The promo images of this set looked soooo promising.

 

Hmm, after CAREFULLY looking at these colored retail-posted pics of the Platinum Unleashed Dinobots set, the only one I have remote interest in is that Strafe with the painted blue torso. Hello Diaclone colored inspired Swoop!  

 

This set could've turned out so much better.

 

I might get this set if I have trouble funding Slog by himself in stores

 

I see what your saying. I'm just a sucker for the G1 Dinobots. I'm kind of on the fence about the AOE Dino's bright colors, but we've already got 5 of the 7, so were going with those. I want all seven new Dinobots in the SDCC colors or these exclusives.

While I'm at it, my daughter wants a pony.... 

 

Eh, honestly I think this BBTS set looks pretty good, I'm still really looking forward to it. And they definitely look more like their movie selves than the regular retail ones lol.

 

So we have an autobot platinum set (preordered because its lush) and a Dino set (also preordered and can't wait to display it with my sdcc set)

Now we just need a decepticon platinum set ... Oh wait hang on ... There are no decepticons in AOE ... How foolish of me

 

I have a sneaking suspicion that the preorders for the Platinum sets might show up within the next couple of weeks. If these sets are released in December, then the preorders more than likely will show up in October.......I hope.

Well not the same as the promo pics, but it could have honestly been even worse. I seriously worry though about all the clear plastic especially on slog.

  I've been holding off on buying Galvatron... I'm kind of hoping they'll do a platinum version of him (I'm SO glad I held off on all the other figures that are getting the platinum treatment) but I'm thinking they won't. A platinum Lockdown would be very welcome too.

 

I don't know what they're doing at BBTS now. Dinobots aren't out in asia until december, but last I checked FE Prime set and autobot set are out wednesday.

There's a strong possibility I'll be ordering FE Prime from RK before I go to bed. I was inclined to wait for BBTS, but I'm not sure what the hold up is.

 

I'll probably wait for TRU, they have the leader set In stock right now, and the dinobots were up for preorder at one point.

 

Yeah I'm torn between TRU and BBTS at this point. I don't understand why they don't put their preorders up, it's not like they put up preorders for Ultra Magnus, Wheeljack, and Bumblebee a full year before they were even announced...

 

Since I didnt want the whole Bots United set, I ordered them individually. I also ordered the individual Sideswipe from the Prime with trailer set.

 

You can't, they're boxed sets, that's like just ordering disc one of a DVD set, you can't do it.

 

To have the sets shipped from overseas is expensive. So some will sell the items individually. I sweet talked someone into selling me Swipe.

 

Aaaaah I see.

 

124.99 converts to 203.15 USA dollars, and that's without shipping costs.  There's no way I'm paying that much. I'll just wait until either BBTS finally puts it up or TRU reposts it.
