when i added talon yesterday i kind of see what youre saying. when positioning rex i sometimes have the legs at different extensions from each other to get the effect i want, but in some positions it does want to slide down. it not really a problem on mine, i just needed to adjust something somewhere else. in this photo the left leg is at med, and the right (closest to you) is at high. just gotta mess with it.

Mine also wants to slide down. It will stay, but you have to work at it. I wonder if it will be worse when the weight of the other arm is added.

When I slide them up I don't feel like there are three distinct settings. I wish there was more of a click and hold to it.

This is helpful! Thank you. Mine will stay in this position, but is finicky.

Still, these guys are amazingly engineered and the QC is fantastic. Compared to Scoria and Kronos, and many of the MP cars, this thing is sturdy and well made.

Yeah that picture seals why I chose Feral Rex, he just looks so much more brutal and imposing than the other two.

Awfully kind of you to say, considering the photos you take are a thousand times better ... Is that mean to say about this random guy who took that photo? >_<

I appreciate the comparison shot, and while it does the job; would have loved much better clarity and cleaner shot. Would have had much more of a wow factor I think if if wasn't taken with an iPhone 3G or something.

Yeah, that looks really great. And he did the G1 look for the MMC legs, which I haven't tried myself yet. I think he has it on highest setting for the legs? I like the wing positioning.

Coming from a photographer's perspective, it's one thing to take a fancy picture in a shooting area with a nice backdrop, controlled lights, etc. etc.., but getting a shot of figures on a table to look THAT good is sex. The lighting and background really mesh well and compliment the colors of the products, and there's really good posing and spacing between the toys here. It's just a good damned shot.

Also, in terms of clarity and the like you always have to take into account that when pictures aren't posted directly from the source that there can be a lot of clarity loss (particularly when pulled off of Facebook)

And, thank you for the compliment, man. I truly appreciate that!

Agreed on the different strokes part.

I personally love Reprolabels and buy them for all my non-MP TFs.

I'm glad I got the Mmc one, still havent received anything but the legs but I'm guessing it's the one in the left of the picture. Damn good photo to I might add. I always prefer the largest combiner unless the quality isn't there.

The other two look like simplified KOs of the MMC one IMO. Something about the plastic quality and boxy designs is just off with me.

i like the picture needs the Has/tak though , i think UT's is the best looking at least in the pics, something to do with the G1 "lats" and crotch. However holding UT in my hand i i know it looks/ feels like poo.

So I got my talon a few days ago and I really like him. Some minor paint issues but that is easy to get rid of.

One thing I noticed. In arm- and alt-mode there are two spikes on the inside of legs near the crotch area. On the crotch itself there are even two indents that seem to fit the spikes. However on mine they won't fit in so I get one click less elbow articulation. It this the same on all copies of Talon?

I also don't like that talon has less tabs than the other members. The cover for the chest combiner port doesn't cklick into position than there is the head that just sits there and the pouches on the side of his thighs also just sit there.

I also would've liked it if the shoulder pads could fold in 90 degrees downwards so the wings could fold in more to the body if the bird and it would've given him a sleeker look in alt-mode.

Those are nitpicks but I've been spoiled by the previous releases. I think Leo Dux is still my favorite.

The only major gripe is the way the tail just hangs there. I really like the two rings on the waist of most MMC toys. So if the tail could split in half and the outer "feathers" of the tail could fold in. Than they could attach to the side of the legs or folded up against Talons body in arm mode. Or even some mechanism so you can attach them to the forearms and still allow for an elbow bend. Even a possibility to detach them like Leo Dux' shield would be o.k for me.

Ok enough whining I'm really looking forward fiddling with Tigris. :)

Ares is very mistransformed in that picture, and Rex too.

    Ok. This thing is beautiful.

My only gripe is the talons on Talon. The same colour as the fists? Stupid move. They are very distracting. Also, they can get in the way of the fist. They should have been made to fold away.

I also wanted to see how people are posing this guy in a Detolf when using the sword. It is darn big and hard to fit in there.

Having been back through the photos in this thread, I think I'll be switching Fortis' and Tigris' guns when Tigris arrives. I think the blocky Fortis cannons will look cool on Tigris' shoulders in both modes, and Fortis will get the pistols.

Edit- Also, if you rotate the arm 180degrees in the pic above, he'll have wrist spikes to match his knuckle ones. Just stick the gun on the Tigris arm.
