Now that we know their strafe can transform in to a much nicer looking arm mode I'm hoping their afterburner has some options to him as well, would look so much better without his side of the combiner being so much taller than the other.

Anyone else happen to notice they put a panel on their strafes thighs to cover the gap a bit? Hope they're gonna do the same on the other arm. If they can get both arms looking decent I might consider this set eventually.

Looks nicer than the initial photos, especially the torso for some reason. I wish that they would do something about the wheels on Afterburner, they make Computrons arm look ridiculous. Can't wait to see some color pics

They also fixed the transformation of it. Look at the intiial pics, it looked rather plain and uninspred. Now it looks much better.

Looks like they changed the upper portion of Strafes arms and now the lower portion turns in like it's curling to connect with it. And the blasters are now removed with the canopy collapsing to form a shoulder. Not sure what they can so with Afterburner. Maybe if they can have that back wheel come down to where the other is, that would look better.

Maybe if you guys ask enough, they will eventually consider hiding the skeletal elbow joints more on their future products and a bit on this one too (looks like they started too). I know this is working for mt future combiners, so why not with wb too.

The one thing that immediately stands out to me about the Computron prototype is the tiny head. It makes me think of a person in a mascot costume without the mascot head put on.

i'm cautiously optimistic about this guy. looks great, but for how big he is, his combined joints are going to be critical. he could end up being a floppy mess *looks at the tiny hips*

Yeah I hear you. I'm a bit worried as well. I guess we'll see how this works out in a few months when not-Bruticus is complete. From the gap improvement and entire arm retool, seems that the guys over at Warbotron are in it to release a good product that the fans will enjoy.

Seeing this makes me feel like not-Onslaught is going to have some ultra tight joints/connectors. And if not..... I'll cry. Lol.

yea as tempted as i am to pick up the bruticus figures right now, i'm just going to wait it out until the rest comes out and see the combined reviews on them. also holding my breath for a boxed set - last time i bought all 5 m3 figures at once in their individual pricing, and a week later the online retailers had a 'full set' price for slightly cheaper, ain't about to go through that again.

I will not comment on this simply because I do not have the funds to acquire all of the 3rd party goodness of late and it makes me bitter.

That's been my concern too. If it was larget and on a neck it probably would make the motorcycle wheels less over the top. I'm assuming the problem is the head has to fit inside the figure. Hoping they can address that somehow.

I don't know, to me the head size and sculpt looks good. But i think it's because I feel that human proportions shouldn't translate exactly over to a big gestalt robot. Just my preference though I'm sure. Lol. I did visualize the mascot thingy once Convotron mentioned it. Lol

Still, gotta get this guy into my collection when he becomes available. Hope quality is top notch!

Computron is supposed to be the smartest transformer so he should have the largest head! Oh wait, you probably wouldn't assume his processor is in his head like I do.
All kidding aside, I just think it looks weird when their heads are too small especially when MP ultra magnus has the largest transformer head after Unicron and he is not even a gestalt. I dont want these guys next to each other thinking someone did a curse on computron and shrunk his head or resorting to buying an aftermarket head later as part of some overpriced kit. Im already in the hole for all these great toys. I am sure everyone agrees the head is small. Some just dont seem to mind like I do.:banghead:

The head size is completely fine. Smaller heads on bigger bodies imply power and that's a long running design tradition for giant robots.

A slightly scaled up head may look a little better but if they can't do it they can't do it and that's fine, he's a combiner, they're allowed to have small heads.

So now you want to compare MP-22's head with that of WB-03? WB-03 isn't even MP scaled.
