Did you do 20% down or full payment? Looks like they're not getting her til the end of August so that's why you haven't got the request yet. But yeah not sure why they don't get her til 2 months after.

This might be a stupid question, but I must ask out of desperation. Does figma ever reissue exclusives? I recently fell in love with Attack on Titan and was very tempted to buy the whole line until I found out that Armin (A MAIN CHARACTER) is an exclusive for some stupid reason and is now selling for $75-$90 on the after market.

This just seems like a kind of dumb sales decision, cause I'm sure I'm not the only completionist to come late to the game only to be turned off of the line because one of the main characters is extremely hard to find at a decent price.

Not that I have ever noticed. Armen was most likely made an exclusive because they thought he wouldn't sell well as a standard release.

Anyway on mandarake they had 3 up for sale unopened for 6k yen each that is around 60 bucks give or take. Still better than the price I saw him for at amiami and ebay for now at least.

This a mandarake search using only his name so other items will show up as well.

I remember someone asking on good smile's facebook site and they actually replied back saying that they don't reissue exclusives so I say you pick up that armin that's selling for $75 asap because that's a really good price.

Ah darnit. That's a bummer. I kind of wish Nendo Link was delayed too so that I could still ship both together... Maybe if Nendoroid Mako isn't delayed I'll toss that in with Link instead...

EDIT: Wait, does Amiami push back your other items in an order too when one gets its release date pushed back? I just checked my August order and expected to see it split in two orders for August and September due to Ryuko, but now it's just listed as my September pre-order despite August release items still being in it. Like, would I not have to pay for Link Nendo then until Ryuko comes out in late September or something? Does anyone happen to know how Amiami plays that? Sorry, I've never had an item I preordered with anything else get its release date pushed back before.

Damn, that's annoying. I paid for some stuff on July 30th/August 1st at HLJ; I'm hoping that it makes it in early enough so that I can ship it all together...

I believe AmiAmi splits and ships whats available at months end. Unless they recently added a warehouse option to their check out like HLJ or have changed policy. But I don't belive that's the case.

Typically, yes, the order will be split for that month and the pushed back item will have a new order created solely for it. AmiAmi doesn't place it in your next month's order (if you have one going already) for you; they leave it up to you to remember to combine that new order for that month with your existing order for that month.

Ah, alright! Thanks. I was just curious since Link was in my September order now. I imagine they'll split him out of it later on then or something. Thanks again for letting me know.

Yeah. Depending on when Ryuko is released, I might be cutting it really close on that one. :)

Would anybody be interested in purchasing some Figma? I have assorted ones from Fate/Stay Night and Berserk that I'd like to sell.

Just for clarification, Mandarake is like an Asian eBay, right?

Not at all, you're not bidding against other people. It's more like a consignment shop with an online component. Competition only comes from someone ordering something before you or a customer picking up an item from their physical storefront before your order is processed.

Sort of, but not quite. There's no actual bidding on items or ability to make offers, it's just a slew of pre-owned and occasionally unopened "BINs."

EDIT: Already answered by Baltan above.
