    So question.

Are any of you guys ordering a Tumbler on the 18th? And would any of you possibly be able to buy two and I PayPal you the cash the night before? Don't feel like waiting until 9/1 to place the order. Unless you guys can tell me how to confirm a VIP account without ordering something. Almost bought a DeLorean from them but it's $15 more than if I bought from Amazon and that's ridiculous.

So. . . just got back from Bricks by the Bay in Santa Clara, oh god it was a zoo of people in there. Madness. I grabbed the show fig before I left.

Saw a glimpse of Levi's Stadium across the street from the convention, it's breathtaking.

Awesome! I plan to get this set soon, as the first of my LEGO Star Wars collection! :D  (Well, aside from a few miscellaneous Minifigures. ) I hope they'll make Obi-Wan's starfighter eventually, but I won't hold my breath.

BJ's had it for $21.99 VS $24.99 everywhere else, so I couldn't resist. These are my current fave Star Wars ships...well, from the prequels. My fave ship in Star Wars is the Tie Interceptor.

Yeah well that's kind of quite the trip. None anywhere near me at all. That's the problem I'm having.

When I signed up for my VIP, it was an order I tried with the US site (I'm in Canada but live near the border and tried having my order shipped to a box on the US side). Anyway Lego canceled the order since it was being shipped to an 'onward shipping business' or whatever they called it. Either way, my order was canceled but my VIP still went through. You could try something like that, make an order, sign up for VIP, then cancel the order?

The Tumbler is coming out on the 18th? If so, I have to put a reminder on the phone!

Poking around on kijiji last night. Some guy was selling the Hulk Heli-career Breakout, Spider-Man Doc Ock Lab, and Deadpool chopper sets, along with the Doctor Doom jet from the Bugle set. Deadpool, Magneto, Wolverine, Thor, Loki, Spidey minifigs. Everything else complete and in amazing shape.

He was asking $30. I offered $45 since he had a buyer lined up. Wow.

When LEGO was 100% produced in Denmark, colors were basically flawlessly matched. A brick from 1980, 1985, and 1990 would be IDENTICAL in color, whether it be blue or yellow or red. Then they added the Hungary and Mexico factories, and then China. You see more and more color variations now. (and even some size variations---go click together a vertical column of 1x1 bricks---see how well the edges line up)

If true, I think I'd probably be interested in the Troop Transport and the Wookiee Gunship.

I'd do it for you bud but since I'm in Canada Lego Shop charges more for items up here. The Tumbler is $230 here plus sales tax. Shipping from Canada to the USA would be nuts too for it.

Pretty sure the only way to get a VIP account is to buy something from them. The Star Wars Cantina is pretty sweet..............

Their shipping is ridiculous though. That's my problem. Might find something really super cheap and order it just for the hell of it.

And I did. Ordered their chibi Tie Interceptor. Had enough on a gift card. Now to wait until the 18th.
