I was wondering earlier about the Megatron's ressurection scene, i even made a thread about it. And there is a guy, HereticalHeresy saying that Megatron's head doesn't need a spark to survive because it has some sort of magic power. I think there maybe no need for another thread just for this but i just watch the Megatron's ressurection scene and i just noticed that, The Doctor didn't strike the Shard on Megatron's chest, he struke it on his head. I noticed Megatron's teeth in this scene. So i guess the shard somehow gave his head the power to survive his face blast in ROTF and the decapitation in DOTM so that he can be revived (again) in AOE
Very interesting find. Well it certainly proves Megatron has a brain in his head that probably explains why the Doctor strikes the shard on his head to reactive his brain. Well this more or less proves how Megatron was still active in AOE just as an immobile head.
Now that you mention it, Optimus seemed to go specifically for his head a lot in the movies. The forest battle and of course the beheading he got in Dotm.
Definitely seems as if Megatron's head possesses his memories and personality as well as his spark. I know most Transformers store there memories in there spark but it seems as if there are a few Transformers including Megatron that have them in there heads as well. That would explain why the Doctor hit the shard on Megatron's head and how he managed to remain alive in AOE as an immobile head.
Hummmm If his spark is in his head,he could survived in the battle of Chicago and transform into Galvatron
Not in the forest battle really, He got many chance to stab megatron's brain but idk why he only choose to stab on the shoulder instead
I've noticed that Artwork says "Eye Spark" I wonder if that is a hint that Megatron has a spark in his head as well? Also It seems most of the wires are connected to his brain as well.
the doctor simply hit megatrons tooth with the shard.. i imagine he would've had to hit anywhere in megatrons body with the shard for it to bring him back.. same way the shard got sucked towards jetfire and prime shoving the matrix into sentinels chest.. so i'm not sure what the point is. when a transformers spark goes out, its brain can still function. which is what happened in megatrons case. his robot brain was still functioning.
Huh. I mean, no credit given to the makers since this absolutely was NOT planned, but it kind of works. If the shard's still in his head, it would make sense it could keep it alive. Y'know, fake-ass Allspark rules. Also, it looks like one of his teeth are dented in that shot. Took one in the mouth, I guess.
I think the Doctor specifically hit the shard on Megatron's head to reactive his brain. As Megatron's spark was extinguished from the Allspark there was no other place to active a part from his head. In Age of Extinction clearly Megatron is alive just as an immobile head but like I've said before there brains must contain a spark as well which is how Megatron manages to be alive just as an immobile head.
The difference between Megatron and Jetfire case is that Megatron's spark got destroyed, he died and Jetfire was simply in hypersleep
