Like I mentioned in my Low Rider-Custom-Thread, the figure got fallen over and the paintjob got damaged. I had the choice: repair the paintjob or so a new one. So I decided to make a better known suit which was in the iron man 3 movie (just for one frame, but it was lol) And this is the result (c&c are welcome as always):
Hot Toys made 18 inch figures? Crazy. I thought the base War Machine Mk II was only released as a 1/6 (12") figure? Still, the paint job is awesome.
Looks great! Isn't that the War machine, it even has the rear gun channel on his back? Iron man doesn't have that chest piece on any of his I thought. I have most of the hot toys figs so this one puzzles me. Still looks great though don't get me wrong.
The Mk XXII was a prototype armor meant for James Rhodes, which is why it looks like the War Machine Mk II. Even the official artwork depicts it as a repainted War Machine Mk II.
Hot Toys haven't made an 18 inch War Machine or any Iron Man yet, you must mean 12 inch. And this doesn't look like their die cast War Machine figure Looks good regardless!
At first: yes I meant the 12 inch figure, it's a typo I can't correct anymore Second: this is hot rod, not war machine, and hot rod was the BASE for war machine 2.0 and at least for the iron patriot. I just have to change the arms, and the it's done and accurate Craftsmith: thank you
I finished it! Got the correct arms finally and repainted them a few days ago, I'm very happy with the result I also got the helmet of the patriot with Rhodes face The mark 33 next to it is NOT a custom
