    NON TRANSFORMING leader class Optimus Prime from Age of Extinction, made from the regular leader class figure and combined with tons of parts coming from other Transformers and model kits.

    There are parts added on his feet, legs, thighs, the entire torso, shoulders, arms and it also features light up eyes. His shield was also modded to better resemble the on screen look.

    I also pinstripped the flames and sealed the truck parts with an automotive high gloss coat.

    Many of the parts I used were just laying around my parts box and I don't know where they originally came from, or I would use one or two parts from a whole model kit or figure, so chances are I'll never be able to make another one that looks exactly like this one again!

    This is the first one I've seen with a handmade collar that looked right to me!

    Fantastic work (as always).


    The end result is new leader class height? (so a midget)

    Handmade collars for this figure are pretty common. Not here on the boards, but on the customized groups it's was a common mod from day 1, and it's always amazing to see how much better those handmade collars look next to the lazy molded collar. From the stock figure :)

    I've seen quite a few, this is just the best one I've seen.

    I'm sure I've missed some good ones though.

    This is the first, and I mean the FIRST AOE Optimus figure I've liked, Hasbro OR custom. Words can't describe this work of art.

    Yeah.. I didn't feel like adding height would improve the look. The proportions look spot on the way they are, so longer legs or a bigger torso would only break that, imo. At least that was something good about this mold! (wish I could say the same about Grimlock.. not a single thing is the right size in dino mode :mad )

    Wow just wow, usually I'm against non transforming but this is a work of art!
