Ya know, I don't know what's going to be more fun. Watching the movie again or 3 hours of special feature goodness.

    Hell yeah.

I assume we'll get that scene of Hound and Bee dancing with Tessa but I wonder if anything else got that far along in animation? I'd be up for animatics or early-CGI stuff - it need not all be fully polished.

As an aside, it still baffles me that in a movie this long, with so much bloat and unneeded scenes that there was a scene with expensive robot CGI that got cut. You'd almost think they'd leave it in just to justify the time/cost of making it.

Just want to know which version will have the IMAX footage? It was Walmart with TF2. TF3 I dont think they included it on the regular Blu-Ray and they waited way to damn long to do a version with special features, no idea what they hell they were thinking there.

Movie will be out before most of the main line toys got into distribution. Thats just poor marketing there all around.

Yeah the previous films were released around September & October but this AoE film kinda have a faster release impression. I don't know... It's kinda quicker this time. I saw the film July. And the release is September...

So a span of 2 months?
Usually a quick DVD/Blu-Ray release of films is indication of poor sales in the box office. And AoE is in a very different case now. Reach $1B gross sales and release of home media in 2 months? I'm kinda puzzled what's the corporate decision behind this one.

Other blockbuster films like The Dark Knight usually got a home media release 6-8 months span. While release in Cable TV like HBO take exactly one year or more.

That's weird because the last 3 transformers films came out to DVD and Bly-ray at around Christmas time.

Blu-rays are just releasing faster than they normally do, even faster than 3-5 months in some cases.

Though since the film came out June 27th and the Blu-ray comes out September 30th, that does mean that the Blu-ray is released a shred over 3 months later.
