I've searched a couple times here, and maybe I'm missing it, but I'm surprised to see no one has modded Dispensor to get rid of that stupid claw gimmick, so it isn't eternally protruding out of his back. Here's my attempt from last night. Took about an hour or so. I'm probably going to paint the grille to get rid of the stress marks, and to make it look more like a vending truck than an armored car. I just basically severed the gimmick rod, pulled both ends off, cut the grille in half and glued the pieces back on. The grille halves just went on the piece that is hinged, at that's pretty much all she wrote!
nice! only reason i never did this to my payload was because i couldn't fogure out where to put the grill... now to track down a dispensor.
lol, this mode should have been done literally 7 years ago when the mold first came up awesome workd dude, though i at least would have done something with the claws XD
I did it too, i did not like the gimmick. Im looking now how to fill the gap of the claw. Good work you did there.
Immediately did the same to mine once I saw this one, gives his feet some nice detail and I'm so glad to be rid of that awkward handle poking out the back. Nice job with this!
Awesome!!! Just finished painting one myself. How did you remove Payload's head? I couldn't get mine off so I just painted it to match the rest.

Recently, I've though of a new idea regarding this custom of yours: With the rear claw gimmick protrusion now gone, maybe you can give him the second pair of arms he had in the 2007 Movie. I recommend using (black) LEGOS to fashion that second pair of arms so they can fit in the place of the rear claw gimmick protrusion you removed when in alternate mode.
This is an awesome mod. May have to do this to Payload. How do the grill pieces stay in alt mode? Great job!
