    I believe that they will be on Hasbro toy store from tomorrow although when is anyones guess, good luck!

    was hoping that they were waiting for the 1st. Now hoping that it is for the 1st Monday, worried now it may be that there are none left :(

    I got mine off ebay and received it in the mail today, and sure I paid a little extra for it......but just awesome

    This set is just amazing, the idea behind it is great, the figures look super cute, everything screams win. I never luck out on online stuff but I'll give HTS a try and then I'm going to end up paying the piper too. I love this whole idea too much :( 

    Then I will have to hide the set for 20 years so my wife doesn't question it :p

    So, I missed them: ( however looking at the phrasing it really sounds like they will be doing a retail release of this...

    yeah, I know and I know they put this on all of the exclusives they sold this year but this one sentence does give me some small hope

    "A HasbroToyShop.com Exclusive launched at San Diego Comic-Con!"

    Now to check out eBay because the hope is very small!

    It won't be this exact item, but it wouldn't surprise me if they find a way to release the previously-unreleased figures in this set. Some other type of boxset or store exclusive.

    They put that line with SDCC exclusives on HTS every single year. It won't be re-released.

    Kidding aside, thanks for the info, means I won't waste time waiting but will start considering if I'm willing to pay eBay prices for this set. I've seen some go for 100 with free shipping, that seems reasonable...

    I know. Seems like a one time only thing.

    And a 1985 set would need to be split into two seperate Autobot and Decepticon sets.
