Leo Pax? Orion Convoy? Either way I'm digging this. Time to reup my subscription.

I think both look cool, but its good to see that Lio Convoy is getting a new figure.

I'm guessing they forgot that the defining feature of Lio Convoy is that he's, you know, a lion. Otherwise he's just another Optimus.

It's a pre-earth Lio Convoy. In the vein of the Depthcharge/Rampage exclusives they've done the past two years (which, Rampage's head size aside, came out pretty well in paint layouts)

I'm surprised they're calling him Lio Convoy and not Leo Prime.

 

That is one of the nicest freebie figures I've seen yet from the club. (Lio Cnvoy, not Rodimus Pooch) Tho, I wouldn't have turned down the Rodimus if it had been offered. When they showed the Rodimus based off of the Rattrap mold this year at Botcon, I thought that while it worked, Rodimus as a mouse didn't seem quite right to me. He works much better as a wolf.

Maybe if enough members want it, the Rodimus, FP might make him and offer it the same way they did Transmutate this year.

Either way, I like it when they add new figures to past Botcon themed sets. It adds to what they have already made and gives us fans molds-as-characters that we would never get from Hasbro/Takara. Isn't that what a fan club suppose to do?

I love it and want it. I love pre-Earth, so I guess I need him and pre-Earth Tarantulas from the 2015 set.

I'm sorry, but at what point in my post did I say it was real? I was complementing the joke by saying it was not half bad as a figure.

As to your example, the Clench from Tankor was a fake because they used another mold for it in the box set. This was another character that was unrelated to the actual character being offered. So while they probably won't make this, it still doesn't mean that might not if enough people wanted it. After all, this is the second time this year that Pete has shown us a Rodimus Primal figure. I think it's safe to say that They'd like to do one in some form or another so who knows what may get released eventually.
