Wow man, it´s incredible !!!!!!

 

Actually no add-on set this time would be a nice change of pace. I'm perfectly fine with not having to pay an additional $50 to get a more G1 accurate look this time out.

 

I still hope we get little Ares drones that can make "Predaprince"s.

Look, your legs are supposed to be longer than your arms. They just are. Why are so many 3rd party designers getting that simple principle of anatomy wrong nowadays? On its own though, this is a quite nice dive bomb figure and the bird mode in particular is probably the best of any third-party pretty kings, in keeping with the animal modes of this entire series in general being excellent.

 

^ If we're talking human anatomy, yes. Cybertronian anatomy, well, there's a little more leeway there. I suppose 3Ps are just aping Takara Tomy with MP-10 Convoy's long gorilla arms.  

Groovy, baby. Digging the proportions on Ares very much. The super saturated colors of the plastic, not so much, but that can be overlooked given the overall unifying deco of the Preds. With TFC combiners, I learned my lesson with Hercules and Uranos, and will wait until all members of the team are released and offered as a set at a discounted price. Ares and Prometheus will probably each be bought in one shot.

Why do I feel like the only one who isnt amazed by this? He doesnt scream divebomb to me with the head folding onto the chest and everything. The orange on the inside of the tail blends in with his legs and makes him look stumpy even though he isnt. I dunno I think I could get behind some beast wars repaints but this set isnt working for me, I think its mostly the colors and where they are used and overused. First TFC combiner Im passing on.

 

All I see when I look at him is Skywarp/Silverbolt. He doesn't look a ton like Divebomb, you're right. But seeing as how that's what I want him for...

Yeah you aren't alone, overall I think mmc's combined mode and their divebomb look much nicer than tfc's. I'll have em side by side soon enough anyway so I'll be able to put my thoughts in to video form  

 

my eyes hurt just looking at them...colors are too bright...TFC needs to tone it down a lot.

 

Yeah as a whole its not bad by any means, just wish they would have pulled back the reins a bit on the box of colors, its just too "busy" for me. I could go for an Airazor repaint.

 

Ares needs to be repainted as Maximals...who cares about the Predacons lol

 

I won't be double dipping. I have products from MT, MMC, FT, Planet X... But nothing from TFC has appealed to me yet. But if I don't look close, how would I ever know right?
