I feel this way as well, but I think we are distinctly in the minority. :)

I really hope this means a new Bruticus, I don't collect generations and he's my favorite combiner so he's pretty much the only one I would get.

I just came back from work. I saw Menazor and Superion. What else did I miss?

Okay, let's get this out there, for all to see and hear: Did they say "We have no plans for a Deluxe Stinger at this time" or "No, we're not making one."?

All I've heard is that Stinger is exclusive to Walmart and that there's a Bumblebee/Stinger 2-Pack coming and that it's available for preorder at SDCC. We already know of one (basics/legion) so this one is possibly a Deluxe Class set.

So, until I hear absolute confirmation, I won't give up on a Stinger to some degree. If worse comes to worse, I'll buy the 1-Step and be done. *shrugs*

I really should have excluded Bruticus as so blatantly obvious. Frankly, I'm opposed to another Bruticus even more than another Devastator. Besides the sheer number of them we've gotten, the fact that we got one JUST LAST YEAR should exclude it from consideration.

But that's my fault for not spelling that out.

As to Devastator, the fact that you disliked previous homages doesn't erase them from existence. My reasoning stands. If you disagree, that's fine, but you've hardly given me any reason to change my own mind.

You could do what I'll probably do if there's no official stinger and paint 2014 camaro bee's yellow parts red, and glue on one step stinger's head.

I could live without a Deluxe Stinger if absolutely necessary, but I'll also hold out until we get an official, absolute "Yes" or "No". This is the ONE thing that sucks from the panel, but I'm all in on everything else.

Maybe there's still hope, seibertron has images up of transformable kreons that weren't shown at the panel and are due out this year. Perhaps more will be revealed as the week goes on.

I've got G1 Devastator with the Crazydevy accessories and that Classics Devastator.

I'd still grab an updated version provided Hasbro did it right.

Well I guess I'm done with collecting since I only go for movieverse. Hasbro might have just killed off AOE. Oh well, at least I saved money. Now, I will go and cry!

Isn't that the truth? Seriously, not every fan is obsessed with G1. If a company released a fully posable Armada Optimus with a trailer that contained posable Super Mode legs I'd buy that. If someone made a more accurate AoE Optimus even that would sell.

Hmmm. Was hoping we'd get to see the last couple of outstanding Platinum box sets....

Though this does seem to confirm my suspicions that there are 2 versions of the voyager 2 pack - the first one we saw with optimum's faceplate head exclusive to K-Mart in the US as shown in the presentation and the one that's on display with the non-faceplate head and extra silver paint which is exclusive to Amazon.com.

Very surprised the only Stinger figure they drew attention to was the scene pack with the legion figures and deluxe Strafe which we already knew about. Though the 1-step figure doesn't mention it's an exclusive unlike the PE boxes. Bit of a silly move on their part if they really haven't made an original deluxe Stinger figure because that really would sell heaps better than that Hot Shot even if he did turn out to be something of a non-character in the movie.

Those transformable Kreons were shown. You can see them in TFW's panel photos (and they're mentioned in the liveblog).
