Its been a long time since I posted up a WIP/ in progress thread but wanted to show off a project I been working on recently. With that I bring you Age of Extinction Grimlock but in TITAN class. starting with the horrible stomp and chop grimlock since it has really good size and decent pierces to start with, like Head and legs.

Starting with tearing down Poor grimlock apart, his head is quite scary with all those wires coming out of it...

    Update 3: Page 3
    starting to take shape

    Update 2: Page 3
As with my movie devy, this one been pushed back for like a year, finally again started back on him.
Update with working jaw and an articulated tail!

    Update 1: Page 2
Thank you everyone for the interest :)
Definitely looking forward to work on this beast.

My plans for Grimlock, is to be as close as possible to the on screen model.
I'm going for only the T-rex mode only, going to feature articulation in the neck, legs, knees and maybe tail? going to have LEDS at some point and maybe his tongue
Update 1: Finally took off the head and got rid of all the wires, sadly those wont come in handly so have to make my own connections. Anyways back to the update, head on big ball joint using tftm leader prime foot/leg. Last pic with compare with evasion prime

This will be wonderful to watch.

I've wondered if he'd be worth the effort, and how much effort it would end up being.

I can't wait to see what you do with this!

I've been thinking of doing this myself if I can find a S&C Grimlock on clearance. I don't know if I'll go as in depth. I'll probably just give him better articulation and a paint job...

    Uh oh.

The man who made the best DOTM leader Megatron on the planet (IMHO) sees a challenge here. ;)

It appears you've got your work cut out for you. I have to admit I found all the garbage they put in his chest area pretty overwhelming, myself.

Like I said before, I'm very excited to see what you can pull out if this!

But hey, major kudos if they can pull it off! The Stomp and Chomp does have some good pieces on it.

Nice! Curious to see what you do with this thing. Do you plan on giving it a better transformation sequence & better detail?

Heck, I think the Leader class Prime's design was too simple for a leader and would've worked a whole lot better on a voyager, although a new transformation would be nice if they could reconfigure the parts to better emulate the new design.
