Ok, I'm am not one to critique companies for their interpretations and ideas about figures, but are these for real? Honestly, with the other offerings these don't stand a chance. These look like KO figures. The lack of articulation, aesthetics, and apparent transformation look terrible. If these do get released the only thing that might save them is a very cheap price. This is just my opinion

We think that some of the proportions look better when a more toy like color pallet is used.

Some of you guys have commented that these may have G1 transformations. That is not the case, none of these Dino-Mechs have much in common with G1 engineering. They are more involved and bigger :)

Those colors do in fact help with the look of the proportions, so yeah, do that. Faces still need a little work, maybe less lines on Snarls face and reshape the eyes a bit, harder edges on Sludge's head as it looks kind of gum droppy in the render, and Sludge needs a new Dino leg/arm configuration to have knees. That particular dino type had long legs. You could just have a flip out fist on the full leg/arm with a knee/elbow that swings both ways (yes, we've seen it done before, but it works...) instead of the arm being inside the leg. Just my 2 cents fellas. I like these designs, but to be a big seller, it needs to be tweeked. Thanks for all the hard work so far fellas, keep it up!

EDIT: Looking at it again, that would mean you would have to change the robot foot configuration too, huh? Damn, that's a stumper of a problem.

We can see what you mean on all the points with Gunk. We have a pretty detailed plan on addressing those issues but as you can imagine that takes a while. Suffice to say that ultimately we plan for Gunk to have a longer neck with more bends, a longer tail, longer dino legs with joints and some work on the faces of Sneer and Gunk ( robot mode for now ).

I think it is in the company's best interest to put a stop to this project and direct their resources into other projects. The Dinobot market is way too saturated right now.

I think it needs 5mm holes in the shoulders so someone can add missile launchers, Arms Microns, BMOG or whatever to them at will.

Does Sneer have dinosaur mode sword storage?

    Also, Gunk needs his sword.

Wtf....All this crying and Bitching has gone too damn far! Let companies mAke whatever they want because you dont have to buy it anyway. It doesn't bother me if 5 more companies came out with Dinobots, it doesnt matter!!! Wait and then pick, mix or match wtf ever. Omg at the constant so-called FAN the bitching

These I think can end up being awesome they have a more robot feeling then organic trying to be a robot like a lot of the other stuff we are seeing lately.

you guys sure this isnt some faux 3rd party company trolling.......knowing how the fandom in here tends to go ape shyt and overly dramatic.

they are saying these are works in progress and not final so they might end up looking nothing like this. This company is making a Skyfire we have seen toy pics of so I think they are far from fake.

I know they are working on new heads, and honestly I REALLY like the Gunk/Paddles robot mode. I don't know if they will do all five Dinobots, but I'm in for that mold. I just hope he get's Sludge's sword. I kniw he didn't use it much in the animated series, but it was there on my toy.

So his dinosaur mode rear legs become FEET? That's cool.

I wonder if the chest still opens up to hold a drive like on the G1/Diaclone toy.

Overall bots look pretty good. The faces though...has the same weird look as the Skyfire. They need a new face design guy :)

I think the transformation is clever in the feet area too.People say these look G1 but I don't agree.looking at the toy pic you posted and the render there is so many differences from the G1 toy. They said on FB that they are changing his arms so in Dino mode they can move more and are making the neck and tail longer too.I think once they do all that and give him a new head we have a hit.

I'd have to agree, I'm in for the paddles at least. I don't mind showing support. These dinos might not be for everyone and if not its cool cuz there is plenty other dinobots to choose from.

Gunk will have his sword, we just didn't do it yet.

Here is Plunge with the new colors.
    and with missile pods
    [IMG]

It was mentioned earlier that Plunge needs a thigh cut. Plunge has a ball hip that is connected from above the joint. This gives him 360 degrees of freedom in rotation making a thigh cut unnecessary. His knees are double jointed as well! Plunge & Gunk have a shoulder joint that can extend out to increase the outward swing. This means that you can choose a close to torso configuration for straight poses or an extended configuration for arms right out. Sneer accomplishes the same task using a double shoulder joint.

And here is a scale shot of the three.

Plunge has a peg hole to accommodate a flight stand ( not included at this time ).

And yes as mentioned before Gunk is undergoing an overhaul to his arms/dino legs etc.

You know the little pegs on the front of his shoulders remind me totally of Mini-Con ports.
