Either a new mold, or most likely a downsized knockoff.

Man, that's awesome! Then new style Prime would actually be in-scale, haha. Any idea where I could snag one online?

I have a feeling Deluxe Stinger is just going to be a repaint of a previous movie figure. What movie figure do you think will be repainted for Stinger?

Just got my hands on the 2 pack evolution BB. Personally really liking Bee's new concept camaro mode. Not the BEST deluxe out there, but definitely one of my favourites.

    Just some pics for now:

He comes with a battle mask too. Not entirely movie accurate but at least they bothered to give him something. I personally prefer his look with the mask down though =-)

Weapons wise he has the wheel thingys which clip nicely for storage in vehicle and bot mode. In bot mode it makes him look bulkier which is good... Sorry no pic of that now. You can see these spikes peeking out just to the right of his head in the first pic.

Hand panel flips out into his trusty canon... very nice touch and I was not expecting something like that on a deluxe toy.

If anyone's interested in more shots lemme know and I'll post them later ^.^ I'm not too bothered by the headlights of the car on his shoulders during bot mode... it adds to his bulk and gives him heft, which is sorta how the movie portrayed his new mode anyway.

This is the first I've heard of Evo Bumblebee set being purchased...?

I went to Walgreens today. The peg that usually has deluxe figures had a bunch of the power action battle thingy-whatever-they-are. The peg for scout class had one-step-changers. I was very upset.

That's strange... heard some time back that there was a 2 pack BB Evo set being a TRU exclusive so I went to my nearest one and he was the last one sitting on the shelf. Thought that there would be alot of people getting it before me haha.

Man, I can't wait to see what a properly painted version (i.e., Autobots United) of that Bee mold is going to look like. I just hope the mask is painted better for that insectoid look. Alternately, I hope they retool Stinger's head if it's a redeco / reshell of that mold to have a full battle mask face, it would be seriously weird if Stinger had the radio box mouth.

That's cool. If you're in the US, how much did he cost?

Providence - if you're in the US, you can get 'news credit' for reporting the Evo Bee set! Go! Go! Go!

On other news, I picked up Black Knight Grimlock. Despite his name, I wished he had more 'black' in him. Oh well, at least he's colours aren't as gnarly (to me) as the Hasbro version.
