Remember how there was initially panic about how the AoE blind bags didn't have number? And then... they did?

I think this is either a bad batch or a case of the seller not looking closely enough. Do we have independent verification of this, or no?

As a guy just getting into this, I hope they keep the codes on the bags.

For anyone still missing Wave 4 guys, PM me. I think I might be one of 2 people buying Kreons in my area and I may be able to help you out. As I started late, I'm missing pretty much all of Wave 1, Wave 2 and the preview guys, so I have LOTS of trade needs :)

    Nice G2 Dinobots, Noidea :)

I just wish it wasn't making want to make more G2 guys for my collection :p

Also, I found out that TRU is still selling a bunch of the older Kre-o sets but they're unlisted for some reason. I've found Superion, Devy, Bruticus, and Predaking so far.

    No, I don't.

We also had a report out of the Philippines that the D&D wave 2 does not have the codes on them either.

Hope so. If not I will be also off the Kreo bandwagon.

I wasn't a seller, I was the buyer and it's pretty hard to miss a code on the bags- trust me there were none on the 12 I got. Could be a "bad batch" I suppose. I'm guessing someone at Hasbro thinks they will sell more if people have to buy more than 12 to get the full set.

The quality on the AOE waves has been a real step up. Great printing on the figures and quite a few pieces. They have really nailed the alt/vehicle modes for some of these. My original Mirage, Red Alert, Jazz etc. are starting to look a bit plain besides the likes of Skalor and Octane.

I think a trading/sales thread would be an excellent idea. The series are so sporadic and geographically spread.

While the originals are definitely more plain, I'd argue that the AOE waves, with their use of wrong names and wrong faction symbols are a step down from the last wave of Micro Changers.

Can you confirm if they fixed Seaspray's faction or is it still a Decepticon?

I know I'm in the minority but I like the "wrong" versions of Kreons.

Highbrow is chilling with the Cons as an evil scientist while Misfire is Hot Rod 2.0 around my Bots.

Is anyone currently selling the Joecon sets for a reasonable price? I'm interested in both sets honestly, just thought I'd ask.

Can reconfirm the no codes. There is a number on the back, but it doesn't have the last two numbers that show the code.
All the numbers are the same, and there is nothing else I could find anywhere that differs.
I know the Lego figs had some kind of dot system, but couldn't find any dots, dashes, or different placement of anything. Nothing visibly noticeable that could differentiate one from the others.
Next week I'll be getting a whole box and opening up every single one of them. I'll sell the open 'revealed' ones locally I suppose.

That 5 digit code is just the production code. In this case, that item was made on the 146th day of 2014.

Has anyone had an issue with any helmets not fitting properly? I've got a Wave Four Sandstorm Microchanger, and his helmet only wants to go halfway down his head, and resists the whole time.

We measured it with a micrometer, comparing it to the other full-coverage helmet I had available, Ratchet (from the AOE Custom Kreons), and found that there was a difference of 0.012-0.014 inches in the opening's width. I'm currently filing it down as best as I can, but it's still meeting resistance every time I test fit it.

Has this happened to anyone else on any figures?

^ Yeah, with Cheetor and Demolishor. Their helmets would constantly pop off, so I went and carefully cut the peg inside until they fit properly.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I'll be wanting quite a few there...

Sucks about the no codes, but to be quite honest, we've been quite spoiled. These are supposed to be "blind bagged" figures, after all. :)

Stopped by a local walgreens and cleared out their last three Microchangers :3

    I got Brake-Neck/Wildrider, Alpha Trion, and a 2nd Barrage.

I wish Brake-neck's face was printed a little lower, as it stands right now his eyes are covered up if I put his helmet on securely :/

Why have 4 sealed sets? Unless you plan on selling them down the road. I understand keeping regular TF figures sealed as you can enjoy the box art and the nostalgia of what it looks like when it's first purchased.

They've always had a 2 to 3 complete sets per a box of 24/36 just buy a box since its sealed and you have 2 or 3 complete sets

Has anyone tried taking spare parts from a micro-changer combiner set and tried making it into something to not have pieces laying around?

(On a side note, I lost one of those tiny black wheels from my Micro-Changer Swindle. :( )
