Hound, like all of the Autobots, was being a smartass. I would do the same thing in his position.

I believe Hound was talking about the grenade when he said "Please pull it."

"Honor to the end" was Optimus' direct answer to Lockdown, whose last words to Prime were: "You've saved the human, instead of saving yourself. You've brought shame upon us all."

Optimus was basically refuting, what Lockdown insinuated.

A mirror to this is Cade's line to lifeless Attinger -- "anytime". Meaning, he'd choose Aliens over humans -- in the right context of course.

Drift's hand isn't anywhere near the grenade & Hound has his hand on Drift's sword; so it's either a reference to the sword (e.g., pull the sword & cut my hand), or a PG-13 version of the phrase "pull that sh#t on me" - either way, Hound's begging Drift to give him a reason to use the grenade on him...

Right when Hound says "please pull it", he's holding the grenade in his hand so maybe he was telling Drift to "pull the pin" as in "do something that will make me pull this pin" which, in a way, it's Drift who is pulling the pin with his actions. I know, it's complicated.

It's rather intereseting to think that Optimus can't just let the main baddies he defeats dies...he has to add a "coda" on the end:

Megatron: You left me no choice, Brother.
    The Fallen: I rise...you fall.
    Shockwave: You, DIE!!
    Megatron: Time to find out.
Sentinel Prime: You didn't betray me, you betrayed yourself.
    Lockdown: Honor to the End.

Honour to the end baffles me too...

    Like, a lot...

Maybe Cade and the humans have honour for their coming to help him?

I DON'T KNOW! THE MATH IS WRONG!

I like the whole Knights explanation from your friend MaxxieOD and sincerely hope that the writers actually meant to include all these subtleties :) , but things I question are:
Isn't that often the case with Transformers and other movies? Many times in action movies people fight and my first thought is "just shoot him." Unfortunately it would make for a shorter, much less interesting fight. Hasn't that happened before among the Transformers where they could just shoot each other but they duke it out instead? It could mean sword and board relating to knights, but it is not necessarily evidence of the knight theme since it could also be them simply making a cool fight scene like every other action movie where they could have just used guns.

I get the honor thing but Lockdown was solely there for Prime. I am wondering whether "This is my fight" was about upholding honor or his honor being at stake or simply giving Cade an out as in - Lockdown's here for me so don't risk your life. It wasn't so much that it's an honor thing for Prime, but he doesn't want to be the cause of Cade's death.

Which is why I though Prime's "Honor to the end" was about Cade (and Tessa/Shane/Bee) because even though he ordered them to go they did the honorable thing and still came back and risked their lives for him. Some humans were hunting them down but there were still truly honorable humans left as well.

But like I said, I am not bashing you or your friend's interpretation - I actually really like it and it's a great tie in to Prime being a Knight. I am just offering another interpretation, which I know others might find my interpretation to be "dumb" or "completely wrong" but that's just the feeling I got from the whole thing.

    As well as this...
Prime just HAD to say something :D ... it's Prime.

i noticed the pull it thing too. I wouldnt blame the voice actors, as much as the special effects artists for not adding the details of the grenade thing.
However, my brain assumed Drifts swords may have little blasters in them, such as the knife Cade uses as a gun, or RID Sideburn's little blade-gun....

the Prime thing I didnt trip off, I thought it was him saying honor because him and the humans were protecting one another. I may be incorrect but in fiction etc, there's usually an "honorable" way to kill people....like Gladiator or whatnot

Its because when Lockdown stabbed Optimus with his own sword he told optimus you saved a human rather than yourself, you bring shame to us all. That's why when Optimus defeats Lockdown he says honor till the end.

"Honor To The End" may well just be a saying that the Knights would say at the end of a battle to declare that it was a hard battle and the loser was a worthy opponent.

Lockdown being an ex-Knight of Cybertron is now my headcanon. It kind of explains why Optimus knows who he is as well as why LD had control of the Knight's Temenos; because he already knew how it worked and maybe it had been a home for him at some point in his existence.

The Transformers made more sense than the humans. The human characters seemed confusing. One minute they consider all transformers evil and the next they're only supposed to be hunting cons but than again I only watched it to see the Dinobots.

When Hound says "Please pull it, please do it". He most likely is saying "Please pull it" meaning like please pull a stunt. By saying "please do it" he is just further expressing that.

Actually their are multiple occasions where Optimus's dialogue doesn't make sense throughout each of the movies. In this film for example when he claims Galvatron has no soul... which means he doesn't have a spark, which means he doesn't have his memories, which means he shouldn't be able to remember being Megatron...

    Yay more Bionicle fans :3
