So my brother was watching Wipeout and one of the contestants was a full-fledged Brony, giving us plenty of shout-outs and giving the host lady a Vinyl Scratch plushie. At one point he fell off of something no one of the hosts said he "wouldn't wish that on Nightmare Moon."
Ugh! Why do I keep forgetting that's on? Probably for the best, though. My dad would probably joke about it
I was just reading about that over at The Escapist; holy shit what a fucking shambles that turned into.
It was the most spectacular failure of a con. It was intended for tumblr users by tumblr users. They promised a band that they never booked. They promised Welcome to Night Vale to hold a panel but they were not paid up front and walked out. Then the con staff claimed the hotel was demanding $17 grand or the con would be shut down and they shook down the congoers for it but it turned out to be a scam because the hotel said that was news to them. And the highlight of the con was a bounce house and a sad slowly deflating kiddie pool full of plastic balls.
Sounds actually worse than Las Pegasus Unicon. Anyone see the Funko SDCC exclusives? Nothing spectacular, but nice for DJ and wonderbolts fans.
ehh not really my cup of tea I prefer the Normal releases as oppose to the"Crystal" or Black repaints.
I actually would say it fits DJ better. Not a fan of the bright yellow contrast. The blues and purples combine with the black sheen nicely though. I'll, eventually, have to get the DJ for my wife's collection of all things PON-3 anyway.
