Damn those look nice! I hope MMC eventually plans to also release the green chrome guns also!

 

Just got mine. Played around a bunch. This guy is awesome fun. Only issue I have is one of my wolf back paws is upside down. Not sure which is correct. In tank mode should the foot be round or flat on top?

Oh yeah! Took a peak and it looks like my "left" foot is upside down. Looks to be a screw to remove it. Now to decide how much it bugs me...

 

My shapeways order finally came in this afternoon. Now I just need to paint them.



So, as of now, Shadow Emissary's weapons fit is this:



The large black cannons are from the Action Master Overrun (I should have the three barrelled gun as well somewhere... Perhaps I can modify this with a 5 mm peg so Shadow can use it as a handgun).

The four beige guns are from an old Zoid toy, and will, after modification and painting, be optional to be placed on the shoulders (opposite of the wheels), a bit like Scorponok. I'll add a couple of pegs for them to the shoulders, if I figure out how exactly.

And of course he will also be equipped with a pair of Colossus shotguns.

The railguns need to be modified a bit. The pegs are just a tad to thick to fit in the holes or hands. The swords fit perfectly though. But I still need to find a place to store the small swords. The large katana's fit in the slots on the wings.

Thanks to MMC, I received the missing instruction manual. I was also missing the helmet without the faceplate, but I got another with the faceplate. Anybody here with two helmets without a faceplate? Maybe we can just swap. Thanks in advance.  

 

Is that polished strong and flexible? Does that hugely affect tolerances? Trying to make Shapeways choices myself  

 

I'm looking for a dazzling chrome set for my Shadow Emissary. Anyone have a set they'd like to sell?

Correct. I chose "White Strong & Flexible Polished" for every item.

Tolerances are pretty good. The swords fit very well inside the hands, the large swords also fit in the holders on the wings. The railguns have a slightly thicker handle though. So ey won't fit in either his hands or the holes on the wings.

 

Thanx man. MMC also sent me the instructions but also like daimchoc sent me another head with the faceplate instead of one without.

 

Got my Shadow Emissary Hexatron today. Love it! Has anybody gone ahead and painted the green guns/helmets? I so wish they had used the same metallic black they had used on the stag cleavers.

I ordered some of the chrome guns/helmet to paint but as I am a total beginner I was wondering if anybody else had attempted this and how they got on.

Despite my name I just aquired this figure, he is beyond gorgeous! The only thing I'm worried about is that he feels brittle to me. I know mmc makes phenomenal figures but he has the same feeling as mmc Cyclops. The closest thing I can think of is that he feels like a diy model. Does anyone else feel this, Im kind of cautious to play with him because he is sooooooo beautiful haha.

 

I don't find him brittle. Only problems I have is with tge hands (wrists actually). These are so tight, every time you turn them they feel like they are about to break....

 

Any knowledge if they're going to do another run in the original colors? I missed out, and G1 Sixshot was one of my favorite figures growing up as a kid.
