This looks promising, but due to all the silence, I wonder if the project was abandoned and forgotten about.

So have these been abandoned? I was thinking there was something else besides the KFC hands...hope this happens still and. Less grainy and better color match/texture/sheen (especially the mismatched YOTH KFC hands)

They're going off past experiences, reviews, and reputation... soooo... can you blame them?

Try... asking folks you know scrutinize 3rd party stuff in the thread instead of trusting something that gets killed by bacon?

Sorry , I am not longer making these hands , since someone else use the idea and released the same product I was working on , I said it 7 months ago ball joined fingers don't work , since they will always be loose , is better to have a pin to secure them .

I have use ball joined fingers in the past as you can see in the picture and fingers with time will fall off if not good material is used .

Aw, that sucks. Coming from you these would have been quality. Maybe down the road when everyone tosses the KFC ones for the various issues they are having?

Ok as I was just directed to this post.... I will take this as a shot at me..... just to have all the information out there, I had the design for the hands that KFC purchased done LONG before you showed yours. I posted my original designs back in early November 2013:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...ated-hands-new-rifle-mp-10-optimus-prime.html

Whereas you posted yours at the very end of 2013:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...-articulated-masterpiece-hands-daca-toys.html

So nobody "used" your idea. It was an idea that several people had been working on for quite some time. As your hands really don't have the MP-10 aesthetics to begin with, I say you should still make them and market them as MP Soundwave hands.... they would sell a ton.

Actually I don't post everysingle thing I design , and the pictures I posted were prototypes. That I had done not the actual , design , but anyways .

Anybody coulf have have the same idea . Good luck with your sales , still think ball joints are not good for acrticulation they will be allways be loose unless you use pressure taps on the ball socket. But it will be hard to create since the space is limited and will be imposible for tooling.

Also a thermoplastic analisys should have been done to see if any areas will shrink. Which it could be the reason why the base. Ball joint sockets are loose , factory can still fix those its actially kind of simple , maybe if they do a second run they could fix it

Oh by the way check this tread before I redesign kronos , look at the hands that the older kronos had , those are the same I put on mp 10 since they fit in mp10 and mp13 , and the dates!!

I hear you, I am just really tired of all of the "he stole my design/idea" mentality that is out there these days. Your design looks nothing like mine, so saying someone used "your" idea is a bit shortsighted. I 3D modeled these from the ground up and was done the design in June/July 2013, but in the end I only did the design.... which was sold to KFC toys. The manufacturing part is ALL them and so are the sales. I got paid for the design work, so I am happy.

Also, there are only ball joints at the base knuckle that is locked on by a pressure cap, so not impossible. The fingers are all hinge joints. Exactly like 90% of all Gundam articulated hands.

Don't worry I know what you mean , your design can be perfect in the program that you use , the rest is actually up to the factory , they have control on the tolerances and to make sure everything its ok.

Oh I know I heard that before about stealing ideas or designs , but you know many could have come up with the same ideas. So you shouldn't pay attention to that

I think both of you have a point. It all boils down to how it's produced.

Heck, in my field of work, I've seen people setup high tech machines, but in the end, if it's not setup right, those million dollar equipment will be useless.

well said sir. With that also being said though KFC's production quality is complete garbage. So I guess unless I go shapeways I'm sol. Don't give up on these Arafat, a lot of people are said and done with KFC because of poor quality.
