Nice, so Acid Storm was used as a base. I figured Thundercracker was used instead judging by the canopy but guess not.

Beautiful as is, but with the Raptor alt-mode comparison pics, I'm now curious how this design/pattern would look on the iGear ConAir Raptor mold, considering it combines the movie vehicle with a G1-style 'bot-mode.

    Cheers Scuba mate :thumb

Cheers, yeah its an Acidstorm, hes custom fodder over here in the UK, I swapped out the canopy from a junker I had! Thundercrackers are too rare here in the UK to paint!

That would be cool to see for sure!

You started with an ACID STORM?! Holy jeez! The gray was so smooth, I thought you MUST have started with a figure that was mostly gray (e.g. MP-11 Starscream). Wow!

Wow looking at your WIP pic make me realized how tedious this job is! May I know what kind of tape (that translucent green tape) did you used for masking? Any tips you can share particularly in creating that stencils & transfer it to the robot body?

Amazing work . Those cybertronian markings look excellent. If you happen to have a tutorial on how you made them please share the link :)

Thanks! The stencil paper I picked up in a hobby shop, its just called adhesive stencil paper, no branded name for it or anything.

The stencils for the tattoos I drew on by hand by looking at stills, and Movie Starscream toys. The drawings were a bit shaky, but when I came to cutting them out I used a razor sharp scalpel and a slow but steady hand.

Thank you mate, sadly I don't have a tutorial but if you have any questions fire away, or PM me:thumb
I just did as explained in the reply above. I think because this was a cheap buy I didn't mind if I screwed ti up so it ave me confidence to just go for it!!

    Too kind, cheers mate :)

Hello mate!! Cheers for the kind words. Your custom Optimus and Megatron are still have pride of place in my collection. They were the first customs I owned and they actually inspired me to pick up a brush and try customizing myself.

Getting them figures off you fully planted a seed, thanks mate, I owe you:thumb

Now that is a bad ass repaint. I'm surprised how well the tatoos translated to MP Starscream. Ace work. Ace work.
