I also like the illustrations on the site, that are used for the story. It feels a bit odd seeing Shockwave from Whirl, but still cool nonetheless.

 

Rodimus sure looks good but having price tag of $100 is just too high for a Voyager.

Cloud Rodimus and Shockwave are the best Cloud repaints. I mean they look way too good for just being repaints.

given they gave Starscream new Ion Cannons, i kinda can't believe they didn't sculpt a new accurate pop-on arm cannon for Purple Whirl, that'd ya know, make him look a little less like a Purple Whirl.

 

In robot mode, Shockwave strongly evokes his SDCC H.I.S.S. Tank incarnation. Sure, the alt mode is technically a different kind of vehicle (tank vs. helicopter) but damned if that cockpit isn't the spitting image. In robot mode, you can kinda bridge the gap between the two. If this weren't an expensive import figure, I would get a second and mod it with some treads, as a transformable take on the SDCC version. It would actually be quite straightforward, as customs go... replace the legs with tread legs that can fold back in gerwalk mode, replace the helicopter blade with a turret, and you pretty much have it.

Starscream didn't get new parts, he got the existing cannons from MP-3. Including existing accessories (that apparently can be gated off from the original mold) is a lot different than getting newly sculpted parts.

eHOBBY almost never has anything newly sculpted included with their exclusives. If they do, it's existing unused parts (like G1 Crosscut's head, or Generations Magnificus' head).
