I don't collect KO's but have nothing against them. I would maybe pick up one for scrap or to paint or something however.

Though, if it was anyone from these boards, they probably weren't from the 3P section -- but as you know, the "official onry!!!"-people constantly view this section because I think deep-down they know how great most of these figures are, and they have nothing better to do with their time  

 

I don't think you screwed the guy. I thought it was great of you to post it so at least a few people had an opportunity to purchase one. The only problem, if considered, would be tracking the package from the auction. If all goes well, I should receive it in the mail by the end of next week. That is the average time that it has been taking for packages to arrive via Epacket from China (7-10 days). Cross your fingers and hope for the best on this item. Like I had mentioned previously, this seller is very prompt with shipping so we will see what is what next week. Oh, Happy 4th of July, that is if you are in the U.S. or just celebrating this holiday. I know that there a people on these boards from all over the world. So, I didn't want to offend anyone with my celebratory gesture.

Anyway, thanks for posting up the wonderful news about the KO Smokescreen. Now I can buy this as a birthday gift for my friend and also include a set of racing decals from Reprolabels. He's a car enthusiast, so he'll really like this.

I wonder what extra items it'll come with, considering the other KO cars came with extra stuff?

But, you know what I want to see KO'd? A 10th anniversary Datsun 280ZX in the gold and black color scheme. XD

So I was able to order this guy before his listing got pulled. I emailed the seller asking about when he would ship and all he said was "OK" Guess I'll go file a claim with Paypal...and go buy from another.

I dont mind kos but this is why i make sure to get masterpieces as soon as they come out.
I may get a ko to fiddle with later,but i know its a ko.
I just got a g2 sideswipe ko that fell apart right out of the box and the seller is giving me a hard time to replace it.
If i paid masterpiece money it would be worth it to me for a plane ticket to visit him.jay and silent bob style...lol

 

Is it about the same quality as the other KOs?

 

if they label them ko's then snitches will report them. if you want the real thing then order from a reputable source.

 

Are the $70 Smokescreens the KOs?

 

I think that's why some Ebay dealers don't label them as KOs and just say "China version" or something like that! The dealer I ordered it from has both the KO version (for $39.88 shipped) and the legit version (for $61.64 shipped) but labels the KO version as "KO."

 

The KO's are usually around $40
