To be honest I don't understand why Primus and the Quintessons couldn't exist I the same universe. I personally think the Quintessons origin of the Transformers is a far more original idea, however it was executed a little thinly in G1 so it needs an overhaul.
Primus is a bit more controversial, as he's basically a god, but I'm sure they could figure out a way to make Primus some higher being who created the Matrix, or even created the Quintessons... I believe the Aligned universe places the Quintessons origin as coming from Quintus Prime, one of the Thirteen, so they could do something similar for the movie verse.
Personally I would love to see TF5 be a dual story film, with Bumblebee's story on Earth as well as Optimus going off on his own to find out about Lockdown, and on the way meeting Alpha Trion as well as some other alien races, for instance the Junkions or those aliens from the start of the '86 movie.

Correct me if I am wrong . I thought Quintessons build them, created their bodies and Primus gave them their Sparks.

I don't remember Primus being mentioned in the cartoon. What was the TFers origin in the comics and how were the Q's and Primus involved?

I like bays films, but I don't think he subscribes to the Edgar Wright way of foreshadowing

Nononononono, eh, but at this point it can't be helped if they are added. Just please have them redesigned so they don't look as stupid as they do in G1.

In the Marvel US and UK Transformers comics Primus was the creator of the Transformers.

In the Marvel UK Transformer comic the Quintessons were a victim race of Unicron turned to his minions. Their job was to clean up whatever survivors left behind by Unicron.

The Sunbow cartoon had a dual origin story for the Transformers. The Quintessons created the Transformer's ancestors as Cybertron was one big factory. Their robots developed emotions and revolted. This was revealed in season 3's Five Faces of Darkness. Before that was season 2's Key to Vector Sigma where it was revealed transformers receive their life and personalities from the super computer Vector Sigma, which says it existed before Cybertron did. Its Key has been implied to have cyberformed Cybertron. Alpha Trion custodian of the Key , creator of Optimus Prime, and leader of the rebellion against the Quintessons aka Father of the Autobots is a first generation product of Vector Sigma. His circuits served as an alternate Key to Vector Sigma giving the Aerialbots life but at the cost of his own as he merged with Vector Sigma.

There is also the Plasma Energy Chamber where it is said the first Autobots were forged. The Plasma Energy Chamber was used by Vector Sigma to repower itself and bring Cybertron to a new Golden Age. By taking energy from Earth's sun.

How are Quints and Vector Sigma related when they is no mention of them between each other? Simple the Quints built an army of robot slaves. Vector Sigma gave them life. Its first creation leading the eventual rebellion as the robots developed emotions thus the desire for freedom. It has also been shown Vector Sigma is so manipulative that it can persuade in mysterious ways its creations acting unknowingly for its agenda. It also manipulated the course of Hot Rod's crew to Nebulos so there would be organics who would reverse the flow of the Plasma Energy Chamber.

The Allspark has been shown with Sam to be sentient on its own that it manipulated Sam to bring it to an appropriate vessel, the Matrix of Leadership.

It is not farfetched to me while the Creators did create Transformers without Energon when the Allspark got involved animating them with Energon and developing Sparks that it screwed the Creators with a robot rebellion.

Dang knew it was the Quintessons when Lockdown said creators. I do agree with those who said it is better than an original idea for the birth of Transformers.

Yes in a very minute detail ie a newspaper clipping that needed to be zoomed in on, the whole inclusion of 5s I think is much of a stretch Imo. Edgar Wright is a lot more blatant with foreshadowing.

Like the world's end, each pub name gives a way what is to happen, as well as having numbers in each pub representing their respective order ie 6 shots for 6 pounds at the 6th bar. I just don't see Bay or Kruger putting that much effort in for that, not their style.

and if the quints are in, what will you say then? And for the record I was never really trying to imply thats what it was for sure I'm just pointing out the fives I see in the movie of which there are a lot and I don't think we've gotten any where near all of them yet either

I whole heartedly agree that if a sequel happens the Quintasons will be in it as 'the creators " all I am saying is just because there are 5s in the movie that they are purely coincidental. Sure have fun trying to find a bunch of 5s if that is what you want, I just don't think they mean more then you think they are

I wouldn't put it past them making a subtle tease as to where they would like a perspective writer/director take the story. But they left them subtle enough to not mean anything if a different direction is chosen
