    Yep, yep. :)

The visuals and the scores together truly make the movie. Sometimes I even get more out of the music from a scene than what's going on on-screen. In the finale of AOE, I actually was slightly bothered by the couple lines of Shane's dialogue as he tripped Lockdown with the tow truck and whooped. It clashed so much with that scene's music in my opinion. I would have enjoyed its more with no talking at all.

But that aside, the score has been worked really well into these films. They add the perfect amount of "oomph" to every scene. And there are certainly those tracks that you can put on late at night, close your eyes, and feel like you're on top of the world. :)

I have always liked that too! Both of those themes worked very well, whether together and definitely apart.

Awesome, memorable score. For Dinobot Charge, around 3:06 and 6:00, do any of you guys hear an Asian motif during those points of the score? Or am I hallucinating? :/

The whole thing kinda sounds like regular Transformers scores mixed with the music from Tron Legacy.

    Still, it's a plus I guess.

I thought this was the least memorable score out of the four movies, but I like when ANY film score gets released, rather than stupid "Soundtrack with music inspired by the movie" source music albums.

Does this album have the tracks with the Hans Zimmer stuff? I saw in the closing credits that he contributed, although maybe that was just Jablonsky lifting a cue from some previous movie Zimmer worked on.

They have them all over YouTube now. Might want to grab them before YT deletes them.

It's pretty great so far. I'm enjoying it more than the actual movie. I still think I prefer the music from the original trilogy but i like that they are trying a new approach. Reminds me a lot of the music from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance (which is good, I loved that music too).

Saw the quote from SJ about releasing a CD this time... yay... I love to have (and have to have) CDs for my car... plus I still don't like having 'plugs' in my ears. :thumb  :thumb

I got the score yesterday and it has been awesome listening to it. One of the tracks brought a very familiar melody back into the scheme. See if you can place it.....*Jeopardy music*

Been thinking of getting a YouTube extractor & convertor. What's a good one to use that isn't full of viruses or malware?

There's more than one... After only one listen the whole way through, I caught:

-TF07 Decepticon motif (one of them)
-TF07 Optimus/Autobot theme (pretty much became Bee's theme from ROTF on)
    -"Arrival" motif
    -ROTF/DOTM Optimus motif
    -ROTF Decepticon theme
-DOTM Sentinel motif (not his main theme, but the one heard after his betrayal i.e. "We Were Gods Once")
-Laserbeaks DOTM theme/motif... This was a nice surprise, as I loved Laserbeaks music. It was just odd hearing it, as he's clearly not present in the film.

When I heard "Autobots Reunite", it sounded to me as though most of it was actually the basic chord structure of 07's "Arrival" theme... Just syncopated differently, different rhythm, etc... But I've only heard it once so far.

Any way to get Honor To The End without those shitty generic lyrics? I can barely stand the drumbeat but I figure that would harder to get rid of.

Hi guys, rarely if every post but do enjoy reading all comments. I have been listening through the soundtrack, but haven't come across the piece of music from the trailer when Optimus Prime is driving Yusuf the desert. Does anyone know which track and I'd not a track the name of that piece of music. Thank you in advance for any help.

Anyone know of a legal way to get the DotM score at this point?

It's not on iTunes anymore and there never was a physical release. So actually it's now considered "Out Of Print". Download it for free from the net and don't feel bad about it. Or contact someone who has it and would be willing to burn and mail you a copy.
