I've really been looking forward to The Hub's 30th Anniversary 4th of July Transformers marathon. I'll probably watch a little bit of Rescue Bots. But it's really the original animated movie that I've been looking forward to. I already own a couple of different versions (the 20th anniversary dvd and the Kid Rhino vhs), but I usually make it a point to watch the movie whenever The Hub airs it. I just love the movie that much. I'll also probably watch Predacons Rising as well. Though I own that on dvd as well. The Hub really could've done a lot more than they're doing though. I would've thought that they would've aired a bunch of episodes from the original series featuring the Dinobots. They could've aired some Animated episodes as well. They can still air Animated, right? Or have they lost the rights to air those episodes? Pretty much no matter what they chose, I would've watched regardless.
What they're doing is cool though- looks like a big season catch up marathon of Rescue Bots. Watched a couple eps. It's good stuff. The little commercial bumpers are funny too.
I am. I've only watched Rescue Bots a handful of times. I appreciate that it's for kids, though. I'm with everyone else though, I wish there was some Animated, RiD and Beast Wars in here. Did I miss the new RiD promo?
Lots of scenes in TF: The Movie look like choppy pixelated gunk on TV. I'm spoiled by the Metrodome Blu Ray!
If I had the Hub channel... and none of the DVDs, I probably would have. It definitely seems like the kind of thing I would've LOVED if I was still in like middle school (before TV shows on DVD were really a thing) lol. But, since I have every Transformers I like on DVD, I can always make my own marathons x)
