Just to give you guys a small update, I am about 90% complete with adjusting parts. I am completely redesigning the way his feet transform and once I am done with that I will order some new test parts. My work has been killing me as of late (working 12 days straight in same cases) and I have not had as much time to dedicate to finishing everything up. This has been really driving me crazy as I wanted to be at a early state of casting at this point. Oh well, I guess is just how things are for now.

    Love watching this progress!
This kind of project is almost always going to take more time than expected; after all, you've reworked so much of the original mold that you're practically creating a completely new mold from scratch. And look at how long it takes 3rd party companies to get their stuff out!
This looks like great work; any chance of some step by step transformation pics?

As I have mentioned before on the other FP Bruticus discussion, this is AWESOME! I cannot WAIT to be able to fix my Brawl to a more suitable G1 look for that combiner figure. Excellent work indeed!!

Wanted to give an update: I was finally able to completely adjust everything that i wanted and the order for the second round of test parts should be here in within the next week or so. Once they show up I'll post some pics and if everything turns out like I want I will start the production train.

Got my updated parts in, everything pretty much turned out exactly how I wanted. I have to make some slight adjustment for tolerances but not a complete rework like the last time. I have some new photos that I will up load later, in the meantime here is a video to show the transformation. The quality of the video is not great as it is my first time filming a transformation but it get the point across. Let me know what you guys think!

Bennington Bots ROTF Brawl update transformation.

Looks good and I will buy. I wish the feet blocked the combination posts better.

    Dude, that is simply amazing!
The design work you've done here is really fantastic, and you've basically created a completely new TF that is hands down the best Brawl at this scale (and let's face it, this is the proper scale for G1 inspired combiners, not the gigantic figures that all the 3P companies are producing...).
Have you at all considered contacting a 3P company to see if they'd be interested in collaborating with you? (We really need a properly scaled Vortex that looks the part...ahem...)

You've only really kept the most basic parts of the original figure...
In fact, I can't help but wonder what you could do if you just scrapped the parts that you're keeping and remade them from scratch with your new pieces in mind...for example the thighs that are just way too spindly for Brawl, and redesigning the whole leg so make it even more blocky and Brawl-like...

Anyway, I don't mean to undervalue your work here, it's truly wonderful to see, and I'll be ordering this if only to encourage and reward your efforts!
I have to watch that video again and have another think...I'm sure I can find some questions, comments etc. to add!
