I was really pleased with this as well. It seems to me every movie has used the TF characters a little more than the last, and I hope it continues. The first one was mainly Optimus as the speaking character. RotF, unfortunately, featured Skids, Mudflap, and Jetfire. DotM featured Optimus and Sentinel. But this one used all the Autobots with each other quite a bit!
I'd love to see future movies bring back dead TFs, similarly to how Megatron was brought back as Galvatron, to see those characters interact with each other the way the AoE ones did...

This was another huge plus with me. This type of humor really reduced RotF in my eyes. Fortunately it decreased in DotM, and in this one was almost gone.

Overall I think I still like DotM better, but these two are definitely my top two favorites...

I really dig Welker as Galvatron, the dude was pretty scary in terms of voice for the amount of line he was given.

    *Raises hand*

Thoroughly enjoyed it. My second viewing made clear which scenes could have been removed to bring the time down a bit, but even with those in the film I still enjoyed the hell out of it. Almost as much as TF1.

I was also surprised by how he did. I was afraid he was going to make it too much like either his G1 or Prime voice. While it certainly did sound like Prime, it was a good enough difference to make it sound out.

Also, I love how how he caught Optimus' sword and stabbed himself with it anyways. And it did nothing to hurt him.

I can't say I loved the movie, but I didn't hate it either. One of the things that I did enjoy was the extra time spent spent characterizing the autobots in this movie; specifically Hound. I also really liked Lockdown's ship as a location.

I felt like he was under used but I thought it was hilariously ironic when he straight up ate Prime's original Energon blade.

I could just hear him mockly yell "that won't work on me this time" as the blade disintegrated into his chest.

I saw that, and I was like "ho damn, Galvatron means business this time around"

"I was blasted in the face, and got my head ripped off by you prime!, No more face ripping off me this time around!" - Is what I thought Galvatron had in his mind for some reason :lol

    I loved it.

No real complaints, except not enough Decepticons, and Shane felt totally useless.

To be honest I hated the first three movies but i really liked this one we had some good humor, better human (didnt care for shane though),the autbots were better this time. But i thought there should of been more non drone type decepticons, and the dinobots should of talked and appeared a bit sooner.

I just saw it and I LOVED it! I saw nothing wrong with OP. He reacted like I would have. I fell in love with Drift. Hound was funny as hell. Poor Ratchet, and yes I cried...one or two tiny complaints, but I'm going to see it again! My son and our friends loved it too!

In all honestly, i judge these movies based on screentime, action, the transformer designs, and their techology.

TF1: I liked the movie because it was an introduction and give a rough idea of the techology they had.

TF2: I loved because not only the action scenes were beautiful, it was another step forward in transformers techology with the introduction of space bridges, reedmen, combiners, triple changers(mixmaster transforming into a cannon), and some level of energon.

TF3: I wanted to crawl into a hole and cry because it was a giant step backwards in many respects. Far more human screentime with everyone i don't like. We got stuck with a giant worm instead of a actual transformer. All of them except bumblebee and shockwave now hold their weapons instead of it being intigrated into their bodies which i love. All decepticons now share the same stupid generic brute spiker like weapon. Transformers are suddenly no longer bulletproof being taken out by rifles when after the last 2 movies it takes a tank or more to take them out(those who saw what happened to Ratchet know what i am talking about). And the most onesided fights with the decepticons ever, with not a single decepticon dying in a decent way that entire movie, all of them died pathetically.

TF4: After the crash and burn of the last movie, this movies screentime i found a pain but at least it was screentime spent on getting to know the transformers. We took a step forward again with another triple changer in the form of Drift. A shield cannon that optimus had and the sword gun Yeager had. Lockdowns sniper face cannon. Hound having weapons both as part of his body and outside of his body. The seeds used to create cybermatter. And the human-made transformers were interesting.

Damn! Your local theater is nearly 214 miles from you? How do you see every movie you want to see?

EDIT: Woops, meant 124 miles. I accidentally switched the 2 and the 1.

200km is approximately 120 miles. Distance to my closest IMAX is about 135 miles.

Yeah, it was a typo. :)  I switched the 2 and the 1 around to make 214 lol! And I googled it, and it says it's exactly 124.274 miles. :)
