Just got back from the second viewing (this time took he wife). She thoroughly enjoyed it, only thing that bugged her was Prime scanning the truck that didn't look anything like his final deco and too much comedy durring Stanley Tuuci's time of peril. I was shocked she enjoyed it so much, but then again, that's why I married her.

 

Swung by the Algonquin TRU hoping that the Galvatron would still be there but he wasn't, oh well the hunt continues

 

If anyone's in my area or willing to drive, I was at the TRU in Joliet, and they have a whole mess of Wave 2 deluxes and plenty of Hounds/Galvatrons.

Saw the movie on Saturday. I won't go into huge details cause I realize not everyone has seen it yet. Overall, 2nd best of the series behind tf1.
- Grammar was an excellent villain probably the best human villain we've ever had.

- I liked Mark's performance over Shias but I'd still like him return in the sequels along side Mark.

-Tucci was hilarious I'd love to see him and Turturro in the sequels as well.

-Lockdown is so badass it's not even funny. His scene with Ratchet almost made me tear up.

-I love that the autobots actually have lines and personality in this movie. Kinda sad that it took 3 movies to get this. Hound was hilarious thanks to Goodman; really hope he comes back for tf5.

-I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually liked Weaving as Megatron better than Welker's as Megatron/ Galvatron. I really hope they redesign him for tf5. Not a big fan of the new design. Or Drifts for that matter, his humanoid face really doesn't fit the movie look imo.

-Story wise; eh... wasn't worse than rotf, but it kinda went all over the place. While the dinobots were cool, they really didn't have a point to be there. Just Bay giving fan service.

 

Thanks for that tip! I just bought that set Friday, so I was able to get the refund difference, giftcard, 10% from cartwheel, and 5% redcard. It ended up being $22, well $15 if you count the gift card.

 

I threw out my receipt.  

 

I did also, but I used my card to buy it. I love target for that.

 

Man, hope everyone made it through that storm last night!! My town is a flippin' mess!!

 

It was actually pretty awesome to drive through. A couple times the lightning lit up everything for 3-4 seconds, and it was fucking great.

 

Still no power.. And they're saying not until tomorrow.. grand..

 

I lost power at 7:30pm Monday and they literally got it back on at 7:29pm Tuesday. Don't get me wrong I am glad to out of the stone ages, but dam 1 minute shy of 24!  

 

I did not have water from 6-27 until 7-1, that means no toilet. This was not due to the storms, just no copper pipes in our basement...
