So I'm really tired of people who don't like the movies being such condescending jerks. Just because you think the movies are crap doesn't make you right, it just like, your opinion man. This is a transformers FAN site, people come here to discuss things that their excited about and like but their just met with people who tell them that if they like the movies it's just because their in denial or something stupid. Its okay to have different opinions, feel free to share them, you just don't need to be a holes to those who do t agree with you.
Another 'Boo-hoo - Some people don't like what I like' thread... I'm sure these kind of thread are made just to try and stir up trouble. You, sir, are part of the problem with this fandom, not part of the solution. Try not to be so intolerant. Making this thread doesn't do anything to help people find a middle ground. You could always go and join Michael Bay's messageboard. No negative opinions about him or his movies allowed there. You'd love the place.
You know, I kind of actually agree. I think there should be a site just for the people that don't want to hear differing opinions. It should be waaaaaaaaay over there. By that tree you see, way over there. Folks that can handle that other people might have differing tastes will stay right here (and yes, sadly have to tolerate the "haters" and "fanbois")
Yeah, no. I've been posting on there for six years and there have been plenty of people there critical of Michael Bay and his movies, including myself recently with AOE, and most of them haven't been banned. Personal attacks are forbidden there, though.
Condescending jerks? Spend a few minutes on any discussion portion of aintitcoolnews articles. It doesn't take long before those always devolve into chaos. Of course, given the names of some of the posters, it's hard for me to take their shouts against me seriously.
I stand corrected. I must admit it's been a very long time since I was last there (I even used to be a member - chose to leave, wasn't banned before anyone asks) and every post even vaguely critical of Bay and his efforts was crushed almost immediately. Nice to know the place has since mellowed some. The OP would probably still like it better than here though since TFW apparently disgusts him so much.
Since you're obviously new to the internet, I'm going to help you as no one helped me. Do NOT under any circumstance watch a video that is described to be about females and a singular drinking apparatus. You're welcome in advance.
The wave of children that flooded the sight from 2008 to 2010 have left. It's really quiet there now.
You guys are funny. Anyway, someone here said before that the only thing worse than the movies are the people who like, and pretend that they're good. I had that in mind when I made this thread. You come here because you like the movies and are met with that. I just think that's lame.
Also, I don't care if you don't like the movies or whatever. I really couldn't care less just don't be rude to people who do. Is that a hard concept? A boo hoo thread? Get a grip.
Just to people who are rude to people for liking the movie. Again, don't care if you don't like the movie, just don't be an ass to the ones that do.
And yet you making this thread would suggest you do care. And now you're even more annoyed because not everyone posting in it agrees with you. Practice what you preach. Sounded like crying to me. I may not be a big fan of Bay, but you won't catch me making a thread trying to get others to shut up if they like his movies. Just enjoy the movies and don't worry about what others think.
And after reading my first post it's pretty clear that the issue is not with people disliking what I like, the issue is with how you're treated for liking something... On a fan site...
You're not setting a good example for your fellow movie fans by making threads like this calling out people who don't like the movie.
I've never treated anyone here badly for liking something I may not. More power to them if they've found something about it they like. But making threads like this is just the same thing as you're complaining about, but from the other side. And that will attract my ire. You really misunderstand fan sites. They're not all butterflies and unicorns and skipping along hand-in-hand as a rainbow spreads out across the sky behind them. Well, except when TFW does its April Fools Day thing and the world turns pink and fluffy...
