Things TF5 needs to have:
-Film runtime, editing and pacing fixed. New editor please.....
-The human element cut down because sometimes it's just boring to see that drag.
-Some dumb humour cut down. (Especially from Tucci)

-No forced characters like Dinobots. Good actors also....
-To quote Optimus's words,"We need a new army."
"We need a new writer."
-Make product placement less noticeable.
-Fix continuity with the other films even if it's a soft reboot.
-Macguffins need to stop! No more of those relics like the Seed etc!

EDIT: Keep up the good work with giving the robots personality.

 

1 Hour in Space with Prime, While hotrod/Ultra magnus/bumblebee is the new leader. Maybe some shots of the humans but not long shots...

I still think the whole Transformium is going to play a huge role going forward. They are basically suggesting that Transformers contain organics in their cells or DNA. Humans, organic life and Transformers aren't so different?

Lockdown mentions that the Humans are ready. Ready for what? Ready to make the next leap in evolution or join the rest of the Galaxy? Join the party? reach the stars?

The Organic, Cybernetic, Robotic links might not be the dissimilar.

Headmasters might not be so far fetched or even a step further transferring Human soul/spark/brain into Transformium bodies. Somehow suggesting a full circle of life or link between Earth and Cybertron?

What I would love to see..( not going to happen)

Galvatron uses the remaining pieces of Transformers and KSI Tech.
He creates Stunticons they are full Transformers with sentience.

Autobots are heroes again.
Autobots have built Autobot City/Metroplex and are protecting the planet.
Humans have given them everything Transformer related. Including Sentinel's head, all remains including Devestator. Working together.

Stunticons go undercover, they start to cause trouble as hurt the Autobot image. Humanity begins to turn against the Autobots and the Stunticons break the heroes apart from the inside. Stunticons end up stealing the Devestator combiner code, Space bridge technology and other secrets during their adventure as Autobots.

As Autobots battle Decepticons the Stunticons combine and change the tide of battle, showing their true colours. Destroy Autobot City, injure many bots.

Galvatron opens up a small Space bridge hoping for his troops to come through.

Unexpected results. As Lord Zarak and a small Nebulan army begin to come through, with seeds ready to deploy.

Optimus Prime serves as Zarak's Headmaster Body (Looking a little like Nemesis Prime).

Nebulans = Creators?

Galvatron, Decepticons, Autobots and humanity look on in horror.. fade to black.

 

Galvatron reanimates Shockwave. Shockwave comes back different. Colder, strange. Very efficient. But has his own ideas about how to do things.

Galvatron also 'creates' other new Decepticons (Cyclonus, etc). New 'Cons make regular 'Cons nervous. There's something creepy about them.

Earth Autobots are joined by Ultra Magnus and Rodimus, to interfere with Galvatron's latest scheme. Galvatron was impressed by the Dinobots. Wants his own versions. Enter TF: Prime-style Predacons, lead by Predaking (Note: Movie Galvatron is not afraid of rebellion by the Predacons. Thinks he can handle them.)


Predacons not too happy with Galvatron's arrogance, but more interested in a showdown with the Dinobots. Dinos happy to oblige (Oh, they found more Dinobots somewhere along the way).

Battle is mostly a draw. Predaking is stronger, but Grimlock is a scrapper.

Galvatron absolutely wrecks Magnus, but is betrayed by Shockwave who thinks he is illogical and insane.

Galvatron is injured but escapes. Shockwave considers it a waste of resources to continue the battle with no clear chance of victory and orders a retreat after finishing off Magnus himself (Most of the 'Cons are too scared to disobey. Old One-eye freaks them out).

Predacons also content to leave, but obviously look forward to a rematch (They had fun).

Autobots are relieved the battle is over. Dinobots, too, most likely, but they'd never admit it. Bumblebee is injured. Rodimus finds himself the leader of the Earth Autobots.

There a quite a few casualties on both sides, but no one really important. Also, most of the humans had the sense to stay well away from this battle. The ones that didn't, got eaten or stepped on.

Here's mine: (Please don't shoot me if this is bad I'm not good a phrasing things sometimes.)

Before Title Card: A flashback of Cybertron with the Quintessons ruling and enslaving Cybertronians when the original Primes fight back.

After Title Card:

Human plot: Shane is introducing Tessa to his mom while keeping Brains and one of the other Autobots under wraps. (secrets and stuff) Cade is using Cybertronian tech to upgrade the Autobots and repair them while they search for more of the transformium, because well, they probably know that they didn't destroy all of them. Joshua is reinventing his company to help the Autobots instead of hunting them.

Main Plot: Mega-- sorry, Galvatron is beginning to build a new army with the technology from his new body in order to conquer Earth. The Autobots receive a distress signal from an Autobot that crashes onto Earth warning them about the Quintessons, who believe Earth's exposure to Cybertron is means to exterminate the planet when "Optimus" Prime arrives and tells them that they are actually bringing peace to the planet and that they need to follow their creators. (CULT!!!)

History discovered: Primus created the Army of Primes (13 in this one, hear me out) to battle the Quintessons, driving them away from Cybertron, by the end of the battle, 7 Primes remained and the Quintessons swore revenge. (capturing Optimus when he charged towards them, and replicating his exo structure to create a copy of him to send to Earth.

As usual for any idea I have, I have no idea how to end it after the humans and Autobots discover the truth and rescue Optimus.

2 story arks, optimus in search of creators, and on earth war of autobots led by ultra magnus vs galvatron

 

the autobots, plus prowl(new leader), perceptor and override have their own hidden base. only the yaeger family and the president communicate with them. galvatron has lockdowns ship as his fortress, rebuilt himself(kinda more g1 looking)and has summoned more decepticons to earth, including cyclonus and sixshot. plus waspinator is a mutant TF on the ship. typical destroy the world plan.

meanwhile optimus is in space looking for creators, meets alpha trion . learns of the quintessons and old cybertron history. quitessons ruled many galaxies as an empire and originally built transformers as slaves and warriors, with cybertron used as a factory and source of raw materials. the allspark was originally a battery to give them energy, but it evolved and gave life. the first ones given life, the original primes, who were built as super warriors to control the quintessons hold on other worlds, led the rebellion against the creators and forced them to the farthest reaches of space. optimus was one of the last primes built and was left inactive on cybertron till the allspark gave him life to.

cosmos, trion's messenger, informs them that decepticons are rallying to galavtron to attack earth. after learning this optimus wants to return but is talked out of it. optimus chooses to go after the quintessons at their home planet and sends alpha trion and cosmos to earth to help the autobots.

autobots forced to ask help from dinobots, who can speak again since being free from lockdowns torture. waspinator infiltrates autobot base and kills crosshairs. decepticons send bruticus, dinobots defeat him but prowl in badly damaged.

optimus finally reaches and confronts the quintessons, they subdue him and enter his mind to attempt to erase his memories. however, they reveal that they fear the power of the matrix of leadership and he escapes and uses one of their space bridges to return to earth.

he rallies the autobots and dinobots to defeat the decepticons, though alpha trion is mortally wounded. perceptor and cade also infect galvatrons transformium with a virus, stopping him from breaking down and reassembling anymore, making him vulnerable to physical harm again, so he calls a retreat. optimus returns to leadership.

the quintessons have learned of earth and humans from optimus' memories and decide earth must be destroyed and realize galavatron may be their weapon to do so.

 

Sorry guys I got carried away.

Starts off with Optimus states his earliest memories of Cybertron. How he remembers his training under the Primes, how when the Fallen betrayed them, Sentinel hid him under the protection of a zealous order he was part of; the knights of Cybertron. An ancient order thought to be myth, one who's purpose was to protect Cybertron from unknown forces, a group who did not believe in Primus, but in another origin, one they constantly searched for.

They accepted Prime and let them in their group for safeguarding. Optimus now had a new teacher; Grimlock. Grimlock thought of him as weak, but soon Prime should himself to be a true knight, on the day of initiation, Optimus left the order to return to is rightful duty as Prime....this did not bode well for Grimlock. Soon word was that the Dinobots had disappeared.

Cut to earth, where we follow a flying Strafe to the commandeered ship the Dinobots had escaped from. This now supports as the Autobots new base. Bumblebee relays a broadcast through the radio stating that peace has returned between the Autobots and humans, due to recent Decepticon attacks (cuts to actually t.v news broadcast montage to show recent battles). Then enters Ultra Magnus and Elita-1 showing the new command, they state of high Transforium readings in Europe, believed to be Galvatron.

We hear we here a deep voice agreeing to pleasurably kill any Cons they find, Autobots turn around to The Dinobots walk in, Perceptor appears and pleads to take it easy with the voice modules he crafted for them. Couple scenes of interecation and personailities from the Dinobots. They soon prepare to move out, Bumblebee looking up at the sky.

Quick pan through space. A bot is running through a crouded market place, suddenly he is grabbed by Hot Rod. A figure appears behind to ease his roughness, Prime appears with Chromedome and Powerglide next to him. Prime states that this bot, Axer, knew Lockdown and his cause and asks for information, unwilling to give it away, Prime orders Chromedome to use his mnemosurgery to search his mind. One place is revealed...Junkion

Back on earth we see a the abandoned Longbridge plant, where it has now been liberated as Galvatron's new base, we now see his new team of enhanced vehicons: Cyclonus, Scourge, Onslaught, Blitzwing, Drag Strip (female) and Shockblast (Shockwave reborn). Shows interactions between them and shows Galvatron's plan. It is revealed that Galvatron has confiscated the body of Sentinel Prime and with it he plans to used the siphoned knowledge to recreate a space bridge, one in which he can alone tap into and create a black hole, which he plans to decimate the planet. Shockblast reports that the Autobots have fallen for the the fake relay they created, Galvatron orders Onslaught to meet with his team and prepare to strike.

*Okay I'm gonna speed run now*

-Back to Optimus and co. on Junkion, where they have discovered a ship that looks like the one's from the beginning of AOE.
-Ambush as they are attacked by the residents, the Junkions.
-They fight, the numbers of the Junkions overpower them until Optimus pulls out his sword, the leader; Wreck-Gar, sees it and calls back the Junkions, realizing he is a knight.
-They talk and Wreck-Gar tells them of a strange race called the Quintessons, that Junkion is actually their garbage bin for mechanical waste or malfunctioning creations, Wreck-Gar says how he remembers being created, how he was deemed broken and cast aside on this planet like the other.
-With their help, Prime starts the ship and sets the coordinates for the planet Quintessa.

-Back on earth the Autobots reach the point in which the signal originated from, an abandoned mine, they are greated by Galvatron with Cylconus and Scourge beside him. He states that this was his plan all along and now he will do what Megatron could never, destroy the Autobots for good. What his real plan is and how first he needed to get rid of the only things that stop him.
-Galvatron teleports in-front of Ultra Magnus, grabs and dissapears (due to him manipulating the space bridge)
-Drag strip speeds by Bee and shoots him, Bee chases after her.
-Scourge and Cylconus transform and tackle Elita-1 and Hound, separating them from the others.
-Blitzwing challenges Drift, runs off and Drift pursues.
-Perceptor engages with Shockblast
-Crosshairs is left with the Dinobots, shocked at what happened and are now left alone, until they hear foot steps. Grimlock growls.
-From the darkness comes Onslaught with a group behind him and transforms into Bruticus.
-In the end, Galvatron states that he just wanted to seperate the others, so he could take down the main threat, the dinobots, as this happens he lands a critical blow to Ultra Magnus and leaves the wounded Autobot.
-Bruticus ends up killing Scorn as he protects Grimlock from him, the others are incapacited and only Grimlock and Crosshairs stand, Crosshairs takes his own life by detonating a bomb as he holds onto to Bruticus' head, Grimlcok shelters Strafe and Slug.
-We see the others fight
-They all come back together wounded, a bittersweet moment with two deaths and too much damage.

-Back on Quintessa, Prime and co. get captured on arrival and sent to meet their judgement.
-Prime is placed infront of his creators in a trial, where he pleads to understand who they are and why do they need him.
-They explain how they cyber-formatted planets and with a invention called the allspark they created the lives of Cybertronians and others alike, they created the Primes and Cybertron, how when the unforeseen Fallen betrayed the Primes, Sentinel was ordered to keep Prime alive, but even they did not know his true intentions. That by both being part of the knights they had already deviated from their true task.
-When asked what that was, they retort how the Primes were built to give a false origin, to maintain a type of ignorant bliss to blind Cybertron of it's true fate, to hide the existence of the creators, but with Prime learning the ways of the knight, he already learned to much, even if he didn't believe at the time. Also how he learned chivalry and because of it interfered with the war.
-They state how they designed the two classes of Cybertronians in way that would inevitable start an uprising, that would lead to war, it was all set up, Cyberton was suppose to start to die has it was intended to, but Primes' actions were not foreseen and instead added new problems.
-Prime asks why would they do all this.
-They speak of another creation, Unicron; their first before them, but they lost control. Unicron devours planets and is only lured by chaos, they knew sooner or later it would come for them, so they built countless planets, that would all end in chaotic war, Unicron would sense these planets and devour them, soon going into stasis until it would awaken to feed it's power source once again.
-They soon take Prime away to be reprogrammed.

-Back on earth, Galvatron prepares his final plan, the Autobots appear and they all battle, in the midst of battle though, Galvatron creates the black hole ad starts to swallow up buildings. The Autobots look in despair.

Cut to black, the end.

My Transformers movie would be a reboot. But... In the spirit of the thread...

Post-AoE and the destruction of China, the topic of how exactly to treat the Transformers would become a hot button issue; on the one hand, they've now utterly torn apart two major cities, but on the other, the Autobots have saved us from annihilation like, four times now, and we were sort of responsible for what happened in Hong Kong. The new president (AoE being four years after 2011's DotM would place it in 2015, and this would take place the following year) would be afraid to take a stance out of fear of alienating half the population. So, the Autobots and their secret war with Galvatron would remain in a state of legal limbo.

All this would be established with clips from news stations and political commentators.

The actual film would see the Autobots being secretly funded by Joshua Joyce and KSI (similar to G.B. Blackrock in the Marvel comics), living in a secret base underneath the newly rebuilt Yeager farm. Cade has use to them as their new technician/medic (which is really the same thing to them) now that Ratchet has died. KSI is funding his research and giving him Transformium to repair the Autobots, but the truth is he's using them so that he doesn't have to deal with the fact that he's alone now that Tessa's left for college.

Hound is their de facto leader in the fight against Galvatron's forces, two of which have developed distinct tendencies, Cyclonus, who only wants to kill, and Scourge, who has become the ostensible leader of the otherwise mindless Sweeps, reformatted Vehicons, who steal electricity to meet the army's fuel needs. They've become so powerful that only specialized electromagnetic pulses can destroy them, by causing their polymers to lose their magnetic bonds and disintegrate.

Galvatron's plan is to steal Lockdown's ship, currently under wraps on a hidden research facility along with the Dinobots in... F*ck it, let's say Japan. Let's throw that in there. Galvatron's ghostly, demonic nature could have parallels with Oni.

Meanwhile, in deep space, Optimus has found entire solar systems that were halfway Cyberformed, mined, and then suddenly abandoned, leaving dead, semi-spherical planets in their wake. What's happened here?

We learn what it means to be a descendant of the Primes; Spark's have basic tendencies, and the original Primes had shared traits of nobility, honor, etc. (except for the Fallen). People whose Sparks shared these tendencies are "Primes" in their own right, and the Sparks of Primes tend to burn extremely bright (which is why they're

Knights were the servants of the Primes. Semi-sentient Sparks that naturally bowed to their commanding presence and dominance. The original Primes and the original Knights were the ones which overthrew the Creators. Now that Cybertron has been destroyed by endless war, they see their chance to take it back. But first, they want to try the descendants of the original traitors for their ancestors war crimes, which is why they sent Lockdown to collect them. That's right; Quintessons.

They're masters of living tech, having created bio-shell Transformium armory for themselves, the Steeljaws, and the Sharkticons. They created Cybertron after their original planet was destroyed, and planned for future generations to be fully mechanical, which is why they were harvesting Transformium to begin with. They created the AllSpark to give them life, but the Primes rebelled against their creators. This knowledge was lost by future generations, and their origins came to be shrouded in mystery.

The survivors put themselves in Cold Storage, waiting for their opportunity to strike.

The two plots are appropriately intercut, with the following cliffhangers; Galvatron takes control of the ship, and Optimus is captured by the Quintessons, and sentenced to death.
