I have to admit, I really do like these. The Shockwave/Whirl is reminiscent of the movie (first video game) version of Shockwave, especially since they worked in that gerwalkesque turret mode. As for Rodimus molds, we got Energon Rodimus (who was fine although a bit small with giant legs), the classics version which was just really too small, the titanium version which was actually the best one thus far, next up was Masterpiece Rodimus a figure that was only in scale with the other Masterpiece figures. Cloud Rodimus is just the right size, and while not accurate, I love the alternate modes for Rodimus and personally I think it bears quite a resemblance to IDW Rodimus. If I have the money I'll definitely put it into acquiring this set. The rest of the cloud series hasn't wowed me though.

 

A bit off topic, but who's that white and blue g2 optimus prime repaint on the backgrounds bottom left-hand corner? All the background characters seem to be E-hobby exclusive-type things, but I've never seen that one before.

 

I like Roddy a lot / enough for $100 like .... maybe not
so here is what I am doing ,
I am horrible when it comes to painting so I have to paint the least amount as possible
so repainting a Springer is out , but Generations sandstorm
I wouldn't need a terrible amount of paint (and I like the head better anyways)
so I am going to give that a whirl and see how it comes out
