That line is actually pretty understandable. If Savoy shows up that's warrant enough. Cade was harboring an alien, which oversees normal reproach I assume.

This movie was rated PG-13 right? I'm assuming you're under 13 if you can't understand that.

Naw, I'm a collector. I have the other 3 (even the cinimatic diarrhea that is ROTF). I like the collector's cases that transform so it will fit well with those. I can't justify another $10-$20 for a movie ticket on top of the $22.99. I don't have any discount passes and if the movie fits into the track record of the last two it will be something I'd rather not encourage Hollywood to continue making with direct box office revenue.

    "My face is a warrant."

That's the line you're being an apologist for. Please save your lame, age-related insult for somewhere else if this is the kind of mindlessness you're going to defend.

Ironically "my face is a warrant" sounds like something a child would say.

I'm just sick of looking at these movies and saying to myself... "what the fuck man..." I know I'll keep paying to see them, because I love Transformers more than I hate Michael Bay and his bastardization of the way these lifeforms look, act and feel, but this is just bad and only getting worse.

All I can say is - thank God for the animated incarnations and MP toyline.
This movie is one of the worst i've ever seen - in EVERY way.
No interest in the atrocious toyline asthetic either. I literally fell asleep multiple times and probably would have left early had I been alone.

There is absolutely no arguing that this wasn't an awful movie - and Michael Bay's response is "i don't care - let em hate"

Why promote the dinobots as "Dinobot Slug, Scorn, etc" and not even reference them that way! Why KNIGHTS???

That is really my biggest gripe with this movie. The writer should be fired for excluding a proper intro to the most anticipated characters in this movie franchise

A lot of what this person said is true; but then again I only went to see Optimus and Bee they are my favorites. But the movie pissed me off the writing in it sucks all out now; I know they will keep Bay on but that writer needs to go.

AOE is quite similar to DOTM, in that on paper both sounded great (Sentinels betrayal, moon landing conspiracy, humans hunting tfs, galactic bounty hunter, dinobots ect.) but the execution for the final product was sorely lacking. It's baffling. The ingredients are there for a good sci-fi action film but the direction and writing is just terrible. I don't understand how it's possible to drain the entertainment value out of these movies to the point where it becomes a chore to sit through them. I actually felt exhausted by the run time and the finales never ending bombardment of explosions that disguised the paper thin plot and characters. I left the theatre, looked at my brother, and sighed, "I'm done...I am just done with these movies man". That was the last thing I thought I'd ever hear myself say and it made me sad. If Tf5continues with Michael Bay and Ehren Kruger, count me out. The last three sequels are pretty much the same movie.

While I didn't hate the movie, I didn't enjoy it and seeing overzealous fans think its the greatest thing ever think its devoid of any criticism because "well what do you expect its robots vs robots, not shakespeare" makes me want to hate it. Using BO numbers to shut up any negative opinion of the movie to somehow prove themselves right.
And all the critic bashing stems from the fact people are butthurt over someone else not validating their opinions on something they like. It did some things better than the last 3 (fan service, more serious tone) but it was by no means a good movie. It was schlock. Beautiful looking schlock. It just goes to show that you can polish a turd and people will still eat it right up up. But our opinions don't matter because we're just haterz, right?:rolleyes2

How many autobots ve we seen since the first movie? Around 30... most of them dead, many off screen, and 3 of the alive ones introduced for this film.

And lets not even talk about decepticons.

Transformers are the Red Shirts in Bays films. This is why they suck. Non talking props around humans is not my idea of a "transformers movie".

The climax was terrible. All Optimus did was catch the sword after it was pulled out of his chest and stabbed Lockdown with it. Every movie should have an epic climax or emotional scene like Dawn of Futures Past or Toy Story 3

This movie was a literal abomination. 4 different story-arcs that in no way ever merged into one feasible main plot. Don't get me started on human characters (I thought they were shit in G1 but at least there were only 2 and they were background/plot devices for 85% of episodes and not the center of it all). I thought the concept of Lockdown was amazing, and the Dinobots being Old World Knights of Cybertron was an amazing concept as well, but both were horrifically carried out. Michael Bay does this in just about every movie he makes. Introduces a metric shit ton of characters, never explores their backstories to full potential, realizes he's dicked it up and then just blows it all to hell with typical Baysplosions. :bay  <- says it all. I think the fans, the people that legitimately understand the concept of giant robots that transform to better suit their environment, should have say in how this all turns out. I HATE all things not G1 style, but at this point I'd even accept RiD or Armada writing and designs over this drivel.

I am glad to see I am not the only one who hated Age of Extinction. Sad thing is that the movie made so much money...I think...there are going to be more of these crappy Michael Bay movies. Even sadder, is I will probably still go see them because of my love for the TF brand since 1984, despite hating each and every one of these crappy Bayformer movies. :banghead:

Dude. I was just going to post that. Good on you. That thing hits this on the head.

Almost none of the things that went on in that movie are things I want to see happening (in that way) in other movies.

So much shit in AOE should not be glorified and apologized for (and mimicked) all in the name of "dumb, fun" movies.

And even if none of that were true, as a lifelong TF fan I should have enjoyed some part of it, but...

Now I'm REALLY glad I didn't see this movie.

Wait...you can do that? I should have done that when I saw Transformers 2 and 3!
