Posting this here in news because I know it's going to be swallowed in the movie forum, and it's pretty news worthy. https://studiomadeinpb.wordpress.com
Well there you go kids - Slash is an army builder now. Oh and hey, Slug has his weapons pinned on his sides like the toy intended.
And here's where toy Crosshairs came from. https://studiomadeinpb.wordpress.com/#jp-carousel-13719 One smg, bombs inside the coat.
So it appears that these were the concept art pics that Hasbro used to design their toys. Thus why Strafe has swords and a crossbow, Slug's weird sword placement, and Crosshairs sticky bombs and single gun.
Lockdown reminds me of Christopher Walken in his concept art, particularly the first headshot. Dinobots look fucking amazing.
Holy shit. I just LOVE the Dinobot concepts. They look really incredible here, and what is even more stunning is how close they got the toys. REALLY great job by the new design team.
It's interesting how most of the Dinobots are really like there toys (Scorn's only got one sail, Strafe's two heads are identical, the colors, weapons) but Grimlock looks more like a T. rex here, and Slash has these weird oversized cowboy spurs. I wonder if Slog and Snarl have unused movie designs, too?
Mate, you do realise that your sig itself and, most of all, the image (that everyone is forced to see) is a pretty major spoiler? The film hasn't come out everywhere yet.
And I'm actually impressed with how close the toys are to these designs. Just missing the club hands for Slug and Grimlock.
^ Yeah, at least I'm pretty sure they were. One had an underbite kind of thing going, like so: http://studiomadeinpb.files.wordpre...ers-4-age-of-extinction-by-wesley-burt-12.jpg
