Nothing new in Lincoln TRU today. Will check again tomorrow

 

Called both Omaha TRU and Lincoln TRU. Nothing at Omaha but Lincoln said they had a Grimlock for $20 bucks! Only it wasn't the masterpiece version. Got my hopes up when they said they had a few Grimlocks!! lol

 

TRU in at oakview had MP Grimlock price stickers on the shelf tuesday, but no figures....sadly yesterday the stickers were gone and new inventory was in their place. I'd say that means they are gone. TRU in Council Bluffs, had nothing.

 

What!? No!!! Maybe they'll restock or I just hope they release it online with restrictions of one per household per customer and get it before the snatchers come.

 

Stopped by TRU on Superior yesterday. Nada.  

 

I haven't even seen stickers for that at the Superior TRU in Lincoln. They restocked the stupid looking (at least IMO) YOTH or Platinum Starscream and MP 10 though.

 

Called the TRU in Oakview and they actually had him in stock!!! I told them to hold one and went there this afternoon and they had three more instock!! It was for the new retail price of $80 though, but they had him so go get him while he's still there!!

 

sweet, I grabbed one online yesterday. I'll be hitting up Lincoln TRU though to see if I can use a 20% off coupon though if they have it in stock.

 

Shelf sticker at Superior TRU, but no Grimlocks there yet

Just got out of Superior TRU in LIncoln. They have a huge new AoE display. Two spots for MP grimlocks (normal space and the new one in the front of the store) but no Grimlocks there. Had the new Grimlock Kreo set, a couple of deluxe Drifts, Strafes and Slashes (took one of the Slashes, left everything else), new Rescue Bots and Hero Mashers along with the Evolution two packs. Only had Slug and Grimlock on those. No new Voyagers there however.

 

How many did they have of the Kreo Grimlock set and is it true that its only $25

 

There was probably about five or six left and yup, only $25

 

Aw yes...might be going down Monday to Lincoln and pick one up for the kreo G1 grimlock! I know its only around 300 pieces but for $25 I think its worth getting him and the five kreons.

 

Yeah its pretty danged cool. I'm not a LEGO or KREO guy, but am a huge grimlock fan so I had to get it.

Side note. Got a shipping notice on my MP grimlock from tru.com today so hopefully everybody else who got it that way should be getting it soon too!

 

Yeah I went down to Lincoln yesterday and got AoE deluxe Strafe and the other Slash. Also picked up the Grimlock Kreo set. Now there is only one left! The Strafe figure is probably one of my favorite deluxes (especially in the AoE line). Also, I saw that the MP Grimlock is back instock online this morning. So Go Get Him if you Need Him!!

 

Hi guys. Been awhile. I told myself I was gonna take it easy on the movie stuff this time around, but I just got home from seeing AoE, annnnnd now I'm thinking I need some movie figs.
Any opinions on the good ones? Or which ones I shouldn't bother with? I've got Evasion Prime, but that's all I've snagged so far. I will be picking up a Grimmy, But I'm not sure whether to go with the leader or the voyager.

Damn, I didn't even think about seeing if you wanted to catch the flick. I'm heading to an early morning showing solo tomorrow since no one locallywas free to go see it here in Lincoln.

I've got all the Grimlocks released so far, and honestly, they're all kind of in the "ok but not great" category. I think overall, the Voyager you'd have more fun with than the leader. leader is impressive size wize, but a bit more frustrating to get from mode to mode. I've only gotten FE Prime, evasion prime, Galvatron, Hound and the dinos from the line, but I can tell you, avoid Slash at all costs. He's a terrible, terrible toy. Slug is pretty decent, but aside from Voyager Grimlock, Scorn is my easy favorite of the dinos. Strafe is solid too. And Hound, you definitely have to get. He's my favorite from the line. I like Galvatron, backpack and all, but I'm definitely in the minority there. I'm holding out for the platinum pack of the autobots so I can get them all in one shot when it's released. Hound is the out and out winner of the line for me so far.

 

I'm in the minority too. Galvatron is one of my favorites. I'll be seeing AOE a second time, but in IMAX 3D. Scorn is the best of the deluxe dinobots. Hound is a solid figure, especially with all of the weapons. Leader class Optimus Prime is cool, even if he has a backpack too.

 

IMAX 3D was fantastic. You won't be disappointed.
