Michael Bay Tells The Haters Of His TRANSFORMERS Franchise, "Let Them Hate"

He's kind of contradicting himself... at one point he says he doesn't listen to critics and that regardless they will still see the movie (Though some wont, generalising is dumb)

Then he says;

So he does listen to critics and citied that criticism is a factor that keeps him going...

Given this statement the criticism is probably what is helping him improve the movies - so for everyone saying that criticism is a solely bad thing you should probably listen to him. As given that he does apparently listen to some criticism - he is stating that the criticism keeps him thinking and keeps him improving.

 

This, I was just about to say this until I read this. All this criticism is good for future sequels, I bet the next movie will be even better than AOE just because of all the hatred, it's great to let Bay know what's wrong with the movies as he can fix them. He made an effort doing that with this movie but failed miserably on the pacing.

 

Yea I think he was saying along the lines of he listens if they actually point out things that need improving (rather than "movie sucks and it's racist and stupid"), which is great that he realizes his faults and really tries to improve.

Seriously, though, too much yes to Michael. Too much.

 

His response seems a bit arrogant to me. At least when ROTF was panned, there was some dialogue as to where they went wrong.

I enjoyed the movie, but am kinda hoping for a new director.

 

And a new writer.

 

He is the Justin Bieber of directors.

 

And a new editor.

 

And new everything.

Because holy shit this movie was unbearably bad.

 

No it was not. Bay made it for me and it was glorious. Fuck em Bay. You finally did it right and I'm satisifed. Finish the trilogy, then leave. I love AOE and I will support it just to make sure you posers who can do nothing but complain have another sequel to bitch about.
