Just got back from seeing the Movie.. I didn't visit TFW2005 all day so I wouldn't ruin it for spoilers..

My biggest thing for the movie.. Did I hear a mention that
Lockdown's Ship, was once the Ship of the Primes?

Edit: At the very beginning when I saw Prime in the Theater (The Uptown Theater, which actually exists and looks exactly like it did on the inside BTW)
I saw prime, and I cried a little... First watching Prime come back to life, scared for his life, shattered and broken.. I was in tears..

Why does everyone assume he was fed-up with ALL of humanity? Once he knew Grammer's character was responsible, he killed him, just like he said he would. And let's be honest here. Grammer deserved it. Guy was abusing his position and his power for his own ends because he thought he knew better than everyone else.

Oh Grammer's character deserved to be dropped kicked thats for sure, but to have Optimus do it? I always thought the one line that Optimus never wanted to cross was to harm humans. Just Prime killing humans? Wow, that's something I'm not really sure I want to get used to.

And it seemed like he was fed up with all of humanity; granted he is judging the many by the actions of the few. Between the two films its clear, Prime has been to hell and back, that and seeing Leadfoot and Ratchet slaughtered in such a way I think probably opened Prime's optics to the fact that humanity is capable of some pretty nasty things, darker acts of malcontent that Prime never imagined possible from humans. I think that would sufficiently taint Prime's view of humanity irrevocably, enough for him to want to leave and be frustrated with the general population, or, at the very least, the select groups who seem to dominate the masses with their imposed ideas ( a la Grammer's character).

Yes that happens but I think its important we not classify Prime as an assassin and remember that Grammer was trying to kill Cade at the time

I think Cade and family are what changes his mind Epsilon

Decepticons amazing post, agreed with everything except the human made transformations need some time to grow on me I was only expecting stinger to do that for some reason

Awesome experience, I'm gonna go check it out again. Funny/Scary moment before the movie, when the screen told everyone to put the 3D glasses on, it wasn't working for a whole trailer of "Dawn of the planet of the apes," you can see everyone was in a little panic as people started fiddling around with their glasses; putting them on upside down or even backwards and right at the beginning of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" trailer it started working and everyone was relieved. Then it was movie time and it was AWESOME! The little G1 homages were great to see and hear (cell phone ring tone) ;)

Hmmm....I think I see that turning Prime back to his standard of protecting humanity. I will say that throughout the film he is incredibly protective of Cade and his family; plus you do have his multiple mentions that he owes Cade since he helped him.
Also, definitely don't see Prime as an assassin--incredibly brutal--but not an assassin. I still don't like Prime killing Grammer ( it just feels wrong to me to watch Optimus kill a human) BUT Optimus clearly had to make a tough decision within a handful of seconds. I'm starting to think he did it not to necessarily attain recompense for all of the Autobots Grammer was responsible for killing, but rather he did it because in that moment it was either save Cade or let him die. Its one of those ugly battlefield decisions that has to be made and no matter what, its outcome is not going to be pretty.

One of Joshua's dumbass assistants is playing with the Transformium and makes it turn into a MLP pony. It's not exactly flattering to Bronies, as that character is kinda a doofus.

There's a scene where a scientist dude is messing with the transformium or whatever the 'bots are made out of. Anywho, he makes a rainbow dash that changes into a rifle.

Personally, I don't really think it was insulting. Speaking as a Brony, or a My Little Pony Fan, whatever you wanna call me, I thought the scene was a cute cameo.

yeah I think Cade gets him with the I made a mistake with you, but it ended up good because you're here now speech.

Also, I think some of those lines with Prime saying they're leaving are him blowing off steam. like when you have a bad day at work and say you're gonna quit, but then show up the next day

I'm still and will always be super mad about NEST getting a one-line sendoff and then never heard from again. Also lol at the CIA giving the president the run-around like that. How about no? That's not how the government works. If the president wants to know how you're getting things done you tell him.

Considering how hard the president's foot came down in TF2 and 3, there's no reason he'd suddenly just have his delegate get blindsided like that. That really, really made me mad. The CIA isn't THAT good nor that ridiculous.

I was wondering why the Autobots didn't inform the higher-ups in the government of what was happening- as it was mentioned they were granted protection and KSI/Attinger were lying about only killing Decepticons.

But then again, Optimus didn't know KSI/Attinger were even involved until later, so he probably assumed everybody was in on it as well.

It's great to see some of the people who disliked the other movies finally enjoy one.

Loved this review. But was the Galvatron thing good or bad for you? I don't know how to interpret that gif.

    ^ This.

I think maybe if the Autobots had tried to inform the higher-ups perhaps Attinger was blocking their attempts somehow? I thought that was why there were characters like Mearing and Galloway, people who served as a liaison between the Autobots and the government? Tho I'm not sure why the Autobots wouldn't somehow be able to establish a direct means of communication between themselves and the president.
