Oh, good, it went back up to 18%!

Do I care? No! Because I'm still going to see it and enjoy the hell out of it just like the rest of the world, sans "professional critics".

IMDB gives it 6.9/10. That's more like it.

If you look at Rotten Tomatoes, the 19% comes from the critic reviews. The audience reviews (which are the reviews I care about), are MUCH more favorable, at a whopping 73%, with an average review of 3.9/5 for scores.

But this is nothing new for Michael Bay, a LOT of his action movies are huge hits with the audience and get crapped on by the critics. I honestly think Bay is immune to them at this point. If you look him up, he even responds to them by say "I make movies for teenage boys. Oh dear, what a crime" (I kid you not that's literally a quote from him)

So Michael Bay knows that his movies tend to do poorly critically but the audience still eats them up. And he's clearly doing it for the audience, not the critics. So I don't think there's anything to worry about as far as the ratings effecting future productions.

Just read some of the latest reviews. The critics are so out of touch, it's hilarious.

And if the critics loved it they would be super educated pros at their jobs and proof that anyone that didn't like it was a dumb doo-doo brain. Don't interact with that crowd, it's just a headache in potentia.

It's funny how people seek justification and social acceptance for a film.

It's actually ok to like a bad movie, and its ok to dislike a good movie. You guys will be fine regardless.

Um no? I'm saying that even if the reviews are negative, I could like it. But I know what you're doing, you're trying to twist my words around.

It's also funny how people determine whether or not to go see a film based on the opinions of others.

Having high or low RT score doesn't make a movie good or bad. Its up to you decide how you feel not bunch of reviewers saying whether its good or not.

But that's the whole point of critics and reviews. You can't go see every movie there is. Just like you can't buy every video game. There may be three movies you want to see, but you only have time to see one of them. So you use reviews to help you decide.

Like I said before, these reviews aren't made for the people that are going to see the movie anyway. They're not made for Transformers fans. Even the critics have given up talking people out of going to see it.

No, I use my brain to help me decide. It knows what I like.
