I still can't believe they made this figure. This is the Optimus we all wanted & expected from the first movie. The movie we all wanted that had the characters from G1 with their original G1 alt modes & colors. Instead of buying multiple copies of it, this figure should seriously piss you off.

If they put that rust/dirt on the hasbro evasion prime with the black legs it would be a seller.

What's funny is it's based on the Hasbro one. Honestly I wanted every version of this mold but the five pack and this are making it seem like they're overmilking this mold just like other Optimus molds (fitting given the name of the magazine I guess).
I will be massively dissapointed if we get anymore redeco's of this mold that aren't Toxitron, Nemesis Prime, Nightwatch colors, Clear, or at least Ultra Magnus or Micron Legend Magna Convoy colors (yeah the last one is my false hope on every new Optimus mold ;)  )

Milk is known for that, the name is their slogan as well

Ask hot toys collectors, milk milks everything to death, especially iron man....

Speak for yourself brother. We didn't all want or expect a movie with all the G1 characters with their original G1 alt modes and colours.

This specific mould is printed money for hasbro and takara. The movie is BARELY out and this guy has like 5 repaints.

I really like this. I think it might be my favorite of the Evasion Optimus Primes. A nice blend between both versions.

This goes to show that this mold of movie prime beats the hell out of the Leader Class backpack version that Hasbro is shoving in our throats. Yeah this altmode of movie prime is temporary in the film's story but the toy design is great. Simple but effective.

I'm still having thoughts that AoE LC Prime's backpack can be remedied if the transformation process have added 3 more steps. Where did Hasbro R&D personnel got the data saying going beyond 20 steps will annoy kids from 8 to 12 y/o hence going for simplified transformation?

I'll not wonder if by next year Has-Tak will suddenly release Leader Class Evasion Mode Prime with additional steps from current 18 steps from it's Voyager Class version.

Right now, i'm wishing for Has-Tak to release a Voyager Class of Prime's 2nd Truck mode. So that it can go head-to-head with Voyager Galvatron. Maybe at that scale they can finally remove the back-pack syndrome and be able to produce a definitive AoE Prime toy for retail. If the evasion mode mold turned out to be this good, why not a voyager western star truck too?

    What do you think guys?

SDCC is still coming, we might see a Voyager Western Star with a more refined robot mode.

On the Leader Class Evasion OP, I'd be down, it's a good design, well executed, and really is the star of the line right now. Making it bigger and making adjustments to make it more screen accurate would be great.

This piece is definitely much better looking than the TRU Japan exclusive white one.

If you get seriously pissed off by toys, then you are in the wrong hobby.

Wait....you don't think they are going to stop using this mold....do you??? When did classics Voyager OP come out? 2006? And we just got a repaint of it in 2014 (Botcon Ginrai). Be prapared for repaints of this mold for the next 8 years or so. I can't say it bothers me either....it may be one of the best molds in recent years.

    :lol

If there was a version with milks robot mode and the Tru alt mode it'd be the best representation of Prime.
