Actually, given how at one point of the movie, it's highlighted that Master Builders don't tend to follow any kind of style but their own, which in turn prevented them from really working together (I.E. the short-lived sub). Things that were built that kept to one theme, on the other hand, held together just fine (I.E. that damn double-decker couch is probably the only thing in the entire movie that was both built on-screen and remained undamaged right to the end when they're all sitting on it and meet the Duplo) Part of that was, incidentally, supported by the "divider walls" Pres. Business set up to isolate the worlds. Now that they're down, I can see problems coming up with all the worlds colliding and coming to blows over who is the best world/series. So, in effect, we have LEGO CIVIL WAR, which could be reflected by Finn's friends being in control and eventually he has to intervene and in the end everybody learns to respect each other's styles, finally achieving harmony and, ironically, proving part of what Lord Business's motivations were as having some truth to them once again. Also potentially a Bioshock Infinite style Cloud Coocoo Land where it's turned into a giant flying fortress that shoots rainbows and happiness. So, like the classic Rudolph cartoon except the Misfit Toys Island gets nuked and King Moonracer turns evil. Sounds like a bad fanfic For any justice towards the inclusion of Bionicle, it would need to be its own seperate thing in the form if Mata Nui island. They probably could have it share landmass with Hero City so they could work in the successor line as well (and let's be honest, Core Hunter would be so badass as a movie villain since he's technically a legit serial killer and actually evil, so having him try to capture Emmet in a chase all through Bricksburg ala Emmet crashing through the house on the superbike would make an excellent set piece)
So, did you read what he said? He said he wished that instead of Kre-O, Hasbro had licenses with Lego, so that Transformers could cameo.
Just saw Lego Movie was amused that the Fire truck / Robot looked so much like G1 Inferno. The Construction Mech is bad ass too. If/when they make a sequel I'd like to see some more Medieval stuff and some Ninjas. Really dig the 1980's inspired Uber space ship too... Not unlike what you might make if you used all the 1980's space sets at the same time. Space Ship !!!
So I just bought it on DVD along with the Metalbeard's Duel set and I realised that Metalbeard is slightly inaccurate (based on an early design maybe?). It's bugging me and it has now become my goal to make him accurate!
I noticed that, too. A lot of sets from the Movie are inaccurate, especially the melting room . From what I remember from Metalbeard: -need an extra chain on his left arm -different pattern on the treasure chest -cannons have a scope on them -there's a 2X4 plate on his back.
I fixed the pattern on the chest and the plate on back. other differences are -peg leg built differntly -the smoke stack (fixed) -different gears on shoulders -there should be no bulb on thumb (fixed) -brown brick w/bows on legs should be grey -should be a flat round 1x1 tile next to key (kinda fixed, in the movie it's printed with a pressure gauge) -other missing and discolored parts wow I need a life.
I forgot about the bulb, gears, and smoke stack. I had no idea about the rest. How do the legs look in the movie?
The upper part of the peg leg uses different parts. Pictures below but first Note: I did not take the picture of the figure, I googled it Also the official image of in movie Metalbeard is still a little inaccurate but as far as I can tell it's just the anchor on leg (at least I don't think it was ever there in the movie) and missing the pressure gauge print, so no biggie really. Movie Figure
No. I have Metalbeard's duel of course, but also Lord Business' Evil Lair and Cloud Cuckoo Palace (which to be honest I only bought for Uni-kitty)
Not sad at all. The Sea Cow is a beast, though. If I hadn't bought the Ewok Village I'd probably spring for it.
