After that good laugh about the Ralph Lauren jacket, I have to agree.

Wow. The future of the planet is fucked.

I can only assume you are posting to piss people off, and you are doing a fantastic job of it. Find someone to pay you for it and you are set. No Kickstarter needed... Or maybe that can be your Kickstarter?

    Guess what, it IS hard.
Do you? I'm having a hard time believing that.
This hear could have actually developed into something sympathetic, but...
... you follow it up with this. I don't even know who Ralph effing Lauren is (that is a person's name, right?). Let alone why owning one of his jackets is so vital to your life. It's this part of your argument that's starting to make me think you could be a troll. Though there are certainley people out there that are this incredibly vain.
Nobody hear is bitter... well... there are bound to be some bitter people on these boards, but not for the reasons you're claiming. Also, money isn't really yours unless you earn it. I'm not saying that gifts are a bad thing, but you shouldn't expect to live solely off of the charity of others.
You want it? You're going to have to earn it like the rest of us that weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouths.

    ...

    :wtf:

I just can't believe how much hell I'm getting... just from pointing out an opportunity to make a lot of money. You can tell me you're not being bitter, but that's exactly how it comes off. Bitter because you want to see others toil in a crap job just because you've had to do it. It's like a parent spanking their kid because their parent spanked the. You just want life to be an endless loop of crap and drudgery without wishing better for the next generation.

The issue here isn't that I'd be making large sums of money, but the rather your resentment towards the facile way in which I would make this money.

    Basically this:

You simply posted that you were going to ask people for money. That isn't an opportunity that's groveling considering you have nothing to offer.

Yeah, that's it. It totally doesn't have to do with you deciding that you're too lazy/too good to do anything and should just ask other people to give you money to do what you want to do. That couldn't possibly be it.

    Hold up.

So your idea is that we should wish our generation better by asking for money from people so we don't have to work and can do what we want? Explain how society functions with that logic? Or would that just apply to you?

You wouldn't make it, you'd ask for it, and you wouldn't get any, and you'd probably catch so much shit from everyone on the Internet this thread would look like a playground.

10/10 troll thread, got me worked up.

I also want to address the point that I supposedly "don't want to work/go on internet welfare"

I never said this would replace getting an actual job. I work my ass off with managerial duties, and even if I won the lottery I still wouldn't stop working because I'm not some welfare queen. I believe in an honest pay (harder and harder to come by these days) and I see potential to make a few hundred grand in a week through Kickstarter, then why the hell not?

Because there isn't any actual potential there because you aren't making/selling anything?

would you just look at the bitterness in this thread.

You do realize that nothing is stopping you guys from making similar kickstarter campaigns. This isn't an idea exclusive to me.

It's like you don't comprehend that this won't work and isn't allowed by the website. I love how you think that's the issue at hand.

Since you can't be bothered to look at what Kickstarter is REALLY for, I'll help you out.

I probably won't do it now as where I was seeking encouragement and approval I was instead met with disparagement, so I don't even have the motivation to actually look into this anymore and instead will continue to toil in the heat making 7 bucks an hour until I die, with future generations having to do the same just because Kickstarter, the golden fruit that can free you from poverty, is arbitrarily off limits by those "who know better".

    hashedtag Capitalism.

I love how you ignore all the various questions on how society would function with your idea in place. I assume that's because you know it wouldn't but that exceeds the efforts you feel the need to put into this troll thread.

Good, somebody has to do the shitty jobs. We can't all be doctors and lawyers and desk jockeys.

Now, no pickles on my burger, kid.
