Glad to hear he's on his way - can't wait to get my hands on the little spud. Also got the Retro Rex head for FOC Grimlock coming with mine and I'm strangely looking forward to replacing his duck face with a more G1 Grim face.

Out of interest, what colour Soar are people going for, red or blue?
I've gone red 'cos I like my Dino's to match.

I'm planning on blue when I eventually pre-order......plus I have the blue G1 figure for dual display.

That said the red is nice!

I've gone for the blue, but Swoop was a much better character in the comics....and the red is growing on me.

The great Slag mystery is now resolved!
I'm paying £150 for mine from BigBadToyStore! What a twat :)  Nothing like paying extra, and a more than likely customs charge!

I panicked like crazy yesterday when I noticed £150 had come out of my account, even though I hadn't ordered anything from America.

Comes to I had the page open a while ago, my kids ordered Scoria for me for Fathers Day!! They didn't know the cost, etc...
I've told them to never order anything online without asking myself or their Mother.
I don't feel I can be too nasty to them as what they were doing was beautiful in a way :)
Least it's an amazing figure, and not £150 worth of My Little Pony or something!

For the extra cost and hassle, when it arrives it better be a top quality Slag!

Er, both, because I couldn't decide. :)  I always liked Marvel comics Swoop best and prefer the matching red, so I had to get that, but on the other hand I also really want a cartoon-accurate G1 cast... Swoop is my favourite Dinobot anyway.

I'm slightly concerned about all the QC issues that are being reported in the Scoria thread, way more than I remember with Quakewave - two people have had figures missing heads! Fingers crossed mine will be here tomorrow, having gotten the shipping notice yesterday.

Yeah there seems to be quite a few problems so far with Scoria, heard of broken fingers to the whole back kibble breaking off but the most common seems to be the missing head.

I think only one guy has a missing head - another had the head loose in the packaging but present. I do wonder about people breaking fingers on figures - the same posters seem to complain about it in seperate threads - hamhands perhaps?

Also remember people who have perfect Scorias tend not to post about it as much so there can seem to be a flood of complaints when it's actually just a small number being vocal.

I think what might have set them off was someone saying they wished the G1er at the Hasbro design department to stop inflicting stuff like Arcee and Whirl on them as this person feels all Hasbro Generations toys should be comic based from now on.

Though it sometimes seems like i'm the only one who gets their panties in a not about that view it seems some other soon popped their heads above the parapet and pointed out as I so often do that the views of 10,000 people superseding the desires of 28 years of preceding history might be seen as an "extreme view" and that to make death Threats on a Hasbro designer for while not being a duel rotor copter might be a bit excessive... I think that sort of thing was what lowered the tone - (and I had nothing to do with it this time, I was sort of delighted though if I'm honest - as sometime it does feel a bit lonely like being the only person standing up for the preceding 27/28 years to the last 2 or 3).

Oh a purely honest point about Combiners - I will likely prefer the TFC / Warbotron type combiners over a Hasbro one if only as I like combiners to be as large as possible.

I'm not sure people are elitist about third parties for the same reasons, people do seem to like them for many different reasons.

That's good, and if it had been this morning I would have jumped on it. But after buying all 4 battle shell Turtle figures for my girlfriend as a present I have spent the last of my toy money before pay day.

At only £4.99 each, they were well worth it, and she will be really chuffed.

    Pretty much this.

It'd be interesting to see which colour Swoop is more popular, I'd put my money on blue.
