Heres a quetion, If you're so stripped for cash.

How the fuck are you using the internet?

It costs money... And if you really care about your family, You won't spend money on unneeded things...

This whole thing just smells fishy. Your name, Your Avatar. You post saying your in school amd as if you haven't been held back or am still in High School...
And you say you have a family... But you say you're just now thinking of being finnacially set..

How old are you? I'm not throwing accusations at you. I'm just asking.

    Huh, I wonder.
    (I kid, I kid.)

But, seriously, just turn off your Internet if you're so stripped for cash. I know a few people who use their computers solely for typing up essays and nothing else.

3 words, chump: Too. Freaking. Bad.

1- Finish school, get a better full-time job. The end.

2- Geek culture stuff/indie games/films/music/stage shows/comics/journalism/food-related projects is what Kickstarter is intended for in the first place, NOT trying to kickstart your f--king life.

3- You wish, why the hell bother asking for donations if we don't know you? See 1.

4- You had me lost at that last sentence.

Guess what? Life is too f--king cruel, get used to it.

I want free money too. Hey, give me money. I might use some of it to feed my family, but let's be honest - I'll probably just waste it on toys. I won't even bother with kickstarter, that's too much work. Just give me money.

So give me money. Pretty please? I take paypal.

    Yeah,

Look man. If you do happen to be my age,
And something about the way you type makes me believe you are stating "My Family" as something of the future... Well Work, Work. I work at Krystals and I'm going to have to pay my way through College this year, Pay for gas, And I'm going to have to help my Girlfriend as well with many things such as her Phone bill. How do you think I'm going to do it? Work my ass off and go to school so I can get a better job to provide for both me and her.

I'm not going to ask anyone for money because I don't deserve it. If they offer me a job or something to do for money, I will gladly do so amd take the money.

    Because I earned it.

And the best part is, I get to get up each morning and look in the mirror...

What do you do? Complain and ask for money....
    Grow up.

My life has now been kickstarted by dogecoin. I would say thank you but that's too much like providing a service for said dogecoin.

Whatever. Just forget the whole thing I guess.

There's a common theme in most of these posts

    "Life is hard"

Don't I know that! Compared to most of the people in my life, I'm dirt poor, do you know how it feels to be the only one of your friends who doesn't have a Ralph Lauren jacket? Maybe you do because you're content working a crap job you're whole life, but I see an opportunity available for that that could raise a lot of money in a very short period of time, my ticket out of this dump. The Kickstarter. Yet nobody here wants me to make money from a Kickstarter because you're bitter and hold on to bitter morals that money isn't really yours unless you work for it. Well money is yours as long as it is given willingly. There's a life out there and I want a piece of it.

in order to have a piece of it you have to work hard to get it ! Don't like your job then find something else. People are not going to give you anything you have to get it yourself.

No, you want other people to hand you a life out there, and that's frankly just pathetic. You don't need a Ralph Lauren jacket. You're still in high school correct? You've got college to get a better education to get a better paying job. If you're in college finish up and the jobs will pay better. It's called growing up, everyone goes through it. And guess what, not everyone has shit jobs at your age. I doubt I'm much older than you but I work my ass off and do great for myself, but you don't want to hear that because that means you could do it too.
