Don't care about the rating IGN gave. I cannot help but feel disappointed in them. But from the sounds of things, it looks like the Transformers has a more outgoing plot than the human story does. YAY
So that explains why we thought they were killing Ratchet and then we see him in the end. It was more about what they did to Bee in the first one. He either escapes or is rescued or release for the final battle then.
Roth started with ign a year and a bit ago, before he I think it was Jim vehevoda (not sure about the spelling)
I wish that people have ign a little more respect. I have been following them for years, and maybe it's because I not only read their review out right and listen to their podcasts where they tend to go into more detail of things, they rarely have steered me wrong. I'm not saying g anyone here has been real hard on them, just that in general I find it is easy to hate on them.
"In addition to impressive aesthetics, the soulful machines are endowed with a wide range of personality traits; some straight-up silly but others legitimately appealing." thus rendering every review decrying the lack of characterization as full of shit.
Seriously, what is with this prejudice towards Texans. "Everyone in Texas should have an accent! Just like how everyone in Canada should have an accent too!" smh
Yep, I live in Texas right now, and I wasn't raised here. Nobody around here sounds like they have an accent to me. There's parts of Texas that do have a thick southern accent, but a lot of Texas does not.
I had a friend in high school that lived in Texas for a few years, and not once did he hear someone down there say the stereotypical "y'all." Heck, I hear that more from southern Illinois than I probably would from Texas, lol.
Yeah only been to BC but didn't hear any distict accents there. I've always wondered what part of the English speaking world isn't labeled with an expected accent....Colorado maybe? -------- So excited to see this review! Characterization finally!
I feel like the critics may almost tear this movie apart in reviews and ratings but will end up being record breaker in the box office, or very close to that
Because one review (from IGN no less!) says otherwise. Oh, you. I can't say its one or the other until I see the movie, but that's just silly to disregard many previous reviews because one disagrees with them.
Many previous reviews? The Variety review also mentioned how the Transformers get more screentime. What many previous reviews are you referring to? The 1000's of fake ones posted by fans online wanting to bask in the "I saw it before you" glow? lol
What IGN have said is very consistent with the feeling towards previous TF movies: - too long - weak story/plot HOWEVER, they've mentioned that Lockdown is a great villain and this is one of my biggest issues with movies 1-3 - weak villains. So if this is really an improvement then I might be happy after all.
