There are Hot Topic exclusive show color variants for Pinkie, Dash, Dr. Whooves, Derpy and Vinyl Scratch.
Hope and stardust! What I did was shake the boxes...Dr. Whooves is the lightest one but there are 3 in a full case, 2 dark versions, 1 show color. Pinkie is the second heaviest thanks to her hair and tail and the box will feel heavier and have less wiggle but then again there's 3 in a case, 2 darks and 1 pink. I visited a Hot Topic that I never frequent today...Got lucky and found a crystal glitter AJ and got a Grimlock shirt as well since they have a BOGO 50 sale.
That's what I figured, haha. When we inspected the boxes closely for the two we have (she grabbed one from HT earlier - ended up being a regular black Dr. Whooves) and found little indented numbers. Typically with blind packs, these are to identify which figure is in the box. Dunno if that's true with these, but we wrote em down and will hope for the best Thanks for the weight advice though, I didn't even think of that. Gonna have to give it a go next time we buy some. And, very nice! I thought that sale was over? Me and the lady used it to grab their POP! Vinyl exclusive OP and one of the Funko blinds. Was the Grimlock movie-style or G1?
There's also Pinkie, Rarity and Lyra! G1 Grimlock all the way! HT has that sale periodically actually, I want to say maybe once per month or so?
Best pony was the first one I named So I was wondering if anyone (or anypony) owns the 4DE 10" plush Pinkie and would you recommend it? Was thinking of getting one but wanted to make sure the $25 would be worth it.
Hasbro's SDCC exclusive is going to be the Mane-iac and Humdrum. I had been hoping for the entire Power Ponies team since that episode aired but I'll settle for this.
I'm upset that they did this, since I'm not going to SDCC, and releasing a unique mold as a Con Exclusive? Come on...
You'd be surprised how quickly some things Pony vanish, especially SDCC exclusive stuff. So is Mane-Iac and Humdrum to scale with the bling bag ponies, or the brushables I wonder.
Why... WHY does Hasbro keep forcing Twilight to have wings?! I stopped watching the show because of those wings! My collection is incomplete without Twilight, but I won't have those wings in my house. My poor favorite pony.
Flufflepuff! Wish it was official, like Hasbro buying the rights to make her official somehow or something. >_>
If it's anything like the last 2 exclusives it will be big. Derpy and DJ were each bigger by about 2:1 or 3:1 proportioned to brushy size. Also, if no one else had see, in addition to show-accurate Mane-iac and Humdrum/Spike, they also have an exclusive EQG version of Mane-iac. Sufficed to say, I am underwhelmed. I was so hoping for Cheese Sandwich. Now I'm on the fence. Do I pass because I don't care or do I buy so as not to break up my set of SDCC exclusives?
Cheese Sandwich is so far only going to be a bling bag as far as I know. As far as SDCC exclusives this year, the only ones I'm really interested in are the S.H. Figuarts Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Armored Black Ranger and the Kre-O Transformers Class of 1984 set. If Hasbro had done the Power Ponies along with Mane-Iac and Humdrum, then it'd be a different story.
So, normally when I go on the annual family roadtrip to the family reunion held around the 4th of July weekend, I end up bringing a Transformers toy or two to be something I can fiddle around with idly and maybe take funny pictures of for S&G. I opted to not do it this year because all my little nieces are at *that* age where they will sniff out toys and go through other people's things without asking first, and then destroy said toy when they "play" with it. Somehow, fate decided to switch things up in light of my choice. Fast forward to yesterday evening, where my extended family held a small pool party to celebrate a shared birthday between two of my cousins and other, smaller things. Initially, I didn't know the full story when I first saw a familiar face next to a "Disney Princess" ball on a pool lounge chair By the end of the night, my three-year old niece (the second youngest of my four nieces who were there, and only by virtue of my youngest niece being about 18 months) had decided her favorite thing to do during the party was hide Cheerilee in my camera pouch when I wasn't looking, and then prod me into 'discovering' the toy right after. This happened eight times or so, during which I learned from my niece's mother Cheerilee did not belong to my niece, but in fact had been found among the pool toys the facility kept (which also doubled as the lost-and-found). That did not stop my young relative from managing to actually succeed in slipping Cheerilee into my bag one last time at the very last moment, where she couldn't then 'expose' the pony obsessed with my camera bag, and it wasn't until I got back to the guestroom at my uncle's that I learned of my secret traveling companion. As the location of the party had been at this swanky private community pool that was about an hour's drive one-way, it wouldn't be worth trying to return a worthless McDonald's toy that most people would just throw away. Luckily for the poor pony, I am not most people and so she will be coming home with me on Monday to join the rest of my little plastic herd. However, a closer inspection this morning to evaluate the damage showed she's in amazing condition than I originally thought as she's from the first McD pony promotion, not the third as I had previously assumed (which was wrong anyway as I was thinking of the second promotion Cheerilee, she's not in the most recent Rainbow Power offerings) Not gonna lie, this probably is a bit way too wordy for what really is just a relatively old and monetarily worthless toy that's missing its stand accessory, but damnit the idea of 'abandoned toy' made me recall all the times it got brought up in the Toy Story movies and especially the one short that actually featured forgotten and abandoned happy meal-esque toys. Plus, she's the only accurate solid-mane version of Cheerilee (the other one has the tab sticking out of her head) so she has a place in my collection on those grounds anyway. Well, they can't take her wings off now that she's an Alicorn princess, so... Though at the same time I'm not sure which version you're talking about missing from a complete collection. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say Funko, simply because that's the only version of Twilight coming to mind in any toy form lacking a no-wings version.
